    INTRODUCTION TO PROVISION

God is a Father, and a Father’s nature is to provide for His family. Everything we need, before we even think of it, God has a provision. As a matter of fact, for every destiny God created us with, there is a plan of full provision accompanying it. When God gives us a purpose or relationship or connection to someone, He has built in the ability to create the resources so that it can come into His full plan. In other words, provision is never the vision or the goal of God, it is His resource to walk out His heart and bring about everything you would need to reach and develop yourself, the family, and people that God has called you to.

So Abraham called the name of that place, ‘(Jehovah-Jireh) The Lord will provide’; as it is said to this day, ‘On the mount of the Lord it shall be provided’ (Genesis 22:11–14).

God the provider, Jehovah Jireh, gave life. He saved the promised son from being a sacrifice. He preserved His promise to make Isaac a great nation. He acted faithfully in response to Abraham’s faith in His provision. He was also showing a picture that He wasn’t asking us to make the ultimate sacrifice but He was going to do it for us in giving the life of His own son, Jesus so that we could have full reconnection to Him as a
