ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
To my family and friends that have helped me along the way,
I thank you.
Intro:
I was blasted back hard against the side of the garage. My body buckled under the explosive pressure that this new form was giving. The mist swirled, twisted, and turned around me. It was shining brightly, and a brilliant florescent light formed in the center of the mix.
This light took form, it was tall, slender, and looked to be very wavy. I noticed at the top of the light, that a darkness was flowing, and strands of hair flew like they were in a light breeze. I watched as the light dimmed and pulsed. The pulsing light was slow at first but became quicker. I watched as arms and legs formed from inside the light, a head attached to the darkness, and a blue dress covering up the center.
The light sped up until there was nothing left of it, and I was looking at the back of some woman’s head. The blue dress was formfitting, and it fit this person thoroughly. Her long black hair hung now at the center of this figure’s back. I felt at peace when I looked at this person and a sense of knowing came over me.
Yuna?
I asked the figure.
It did not move. I thought she did not hear me, so I spoke up. The figure then turned to reveal herself in the best way she could. With a smile.
Yuna’s face was like a doll, well done up with red lipstick with matching makeup around her eyes and cheeks. Yuna looked a little paler than what I remembered, but I was still happy to see her.
I jumped up off the ground and ran the few steps to Yuna and I wrapped myself hard around the woman. Yuna embraced me and we hugged closely in the back of the garage.
Yuna, why are you here?
I asked.
I am here to help. God has sent me and one other. She should be here soon. We are here as a guide and to finish your training. You will need a lot of help. God has granted us life upon the Earth once more to serve as your mentors, guides, and all-around help. There’s trouble afoot and you will need us.
What’s going on? Can you tell me?
I asked her.
Where is Francis and Kayley? Your mothers? Everyone will need to be on the same page for this. The decisive battle is approaching.
I grabbed Yuna’s hand and walked her into the house. My two mothers were already in full run mode to the garage to find out what happened, so I met them at the door. They saw Yuna’s hand in mine and asked whose hand I was holding.
I introduced Yuna to my Stepmom and Mom and then I did the same with Francis and Kayley when we got inside. Francis looked jealous of Yuna, I guess because I was holding her hand and not Francis’s. That all faded as Yuna told us what was happening.
Cameron, go sit by Francis and relax for a moment or two. I have to tell all of you the story that was told and get all of you ready for what is coming.
She took a breath and relaxed her arms as best she could. "I wanted to tell you a few things first, I trained Cameron while she was with me in Heaven and that I am here to train all of you. Yes, that includes a refresher course for you, Bri, and you, Gabrielle. I was told to make sure you all were at your best and ready to battle with the one who wants to Kill God.
It’s simple, if you remember you saw angels flying above your home, well just about the entire area saw them. That is because there has been a spell cast that uncloaks angels and leads them to the enemies’ home. This spell has a range of 100 miles, or at least that is what I was told. We have about a week to get you battle ready. The time is approaching.
What all can we do?
My Mom questioned, We’re just two healers. Bri and I do not battle.
Gabrielle,
Yuna’s voice was soothing and yet a little cruel, "you must help your daughter in any way possible. I will train you with some combat magic, enough to allow Cameron and Francis to deal with the ‘Lord of Lords’ as he likes to call himself. Kayley, that name should ring a loud bell for you. He is the same and is a different person you were being held for. He now no longer needs any of you and since he knows you all can stop him; he will send…
The glass broke behind Yuna and she dropped to her knees clutching at her chest…
I raced over to Yuna as fast as I could, I pushed past Francis and my Moms and just before Yuna’s head hit the carpet I caught her. There was something that disappeared in a puff of smoke, but I could not be sure. I placed her head in my lap and I kept repeating to her that everything was going to be all right and she would be perfectly fine. She smiled at me and rubbed my face with her hand and that was it. She lay there lifeless in my lap.
Light began to emanate from her body, and she rose to her feet.
It took everything within me not to jump up and scream while flinging myself into her arms. Instead I rose to my feet and wiped my tears from my cheeks and walked into her open arms for the warmest hug she had ever given me. Francis joined shortly thereafter as well as my two Moms and we all felt a relief that we had not lost someone so soon after meeting them in this reality.
Well, that was something now wasn’t it?
she asked with a smart elic tone. Then she smiled a dashing smile that stretched across her whole entire face.
What is it that you intend to do to us Yuna?
my Stepmom Bri stated.
You and Gabrielle will be undergoing a transformation starting tomorrow. I am taking the girls with me this afternoon out for a walk into the next level of their ability.
What does that mean?
Francis asked.
I mean, we will be going for a spirit walk and training where Cameron trained. In my house in heaven. Once there you will be stronger in both spirit and physical world.
An electrical pulse swells up around me and my hair began to stand on end. I began to warn them but with the way they were carrying on with one and other my verbal sounds of pain and warning went unnoticed. Lightning began to express its dominance over my hair and show its force by taking out the lamp on the phone desk.
The lightning from my hair suddenly zapped across the room and took out the China Closet and lit the wood on fire. Yuna rushed over to me and was electrocuted for it. I watched as her body turned from pale to brown and fall lifeless onto the floor for the second time. Tears welled up in my eyes. I did not know if Yuna would be able to revive once more. I watched Francis move towards her body with her arms outstretched to move Yuna out of the way.
DON’T TOUCH HER!!!
I screamed. IT’LL KILL YOU!
As soon as the words came out of my mouth, Francis had grasped Yuna’s arm and ankle. The shock ripped through her body and she collapsed onto Yuna, completely motionless.
Suddenly in a puff of smoke, Yuna’s and Francis’s bodies vanished. My mom and stepmom began screaming, Where are they? Where did they go?
. My out-of-control lightning suddenly stood straight, as if a conductor appeared over my head. Then, it arced over the space where Yuna and Francis had been just moments ago.
The lightning began to arc back in my direction and changed from a pure white glow to blue. As the smoke began to fade, I noticed a pair of leather boots had appeared on the carpet. This was followed by a set of red and black striped leather greaves that had silver fixtures along the sides fastening them to a set of long silky pair of legs. As the lighting continued to withdraw, more of this person’s body was exposed. A wonderful set of legs that my Moms’ and I wanted to touch, followed by a brown and gold laced looking tunic of ancient days. On this person’s right, their hand rested on a sword (hopefully) that was kept inside a sheath while on the left there was a shield with a portrait of a man slaying a giant snake.
The tunic was formfitting and appeared to have seen better days. As it stood, all I could see was the back side of this person. My mothers had full view of the front of this person that was arriving, and they were overly excited about it. Suddenly a helmet appeared, and it too was brown, near tan and had gold trim, and when this person went to remove the helmet, he or she turned their body towards me and all I could see was a smile and a nice set of teeth.
This person began to remove the helmet slowly. Taking ones’ time is not a good thing when Francis is gone, I would say, but this person was, and I was getting rather pissed off.
Where’s Francis?
I screamed at the person taking off the helmet.
She’s safe and training with Yuna in Heaven. Please give me a moment.
Said the person taking off the helmet, As soon as I finish here, I will begin your training Cameron. Please hold on a moment more.
And with that the helmet dropped to the carpet with a slight clang.
I looked up and I saw a masterfully styled haircut. It was ear length, curled underneath, it was strawberry blond-haired person in color, and I was mesmerized by it. I looked upon her face and noticed that she had freckles all over the place and one green eye and one blue eye. She looked familiar like I had met her before, but I was not sure.
Cameron,
she said with a smile on her face, "your next level of training is about to begin. My name is Gavreel, I
