The Stillness Within The Storm - Mark Osmer
SIMPLICITY
WARRIOR AND ANGEL
DAYBREAK WARRIOR
Daybreak warrior, guardian of the dawn,
Stands forever peaceful, the calm before the storm.
Rushing winds carry wet grass scent,
Rain dance called, Great Spirit sent,
Eagles spiral high above the rainbows arched domain,
Indigo rattle dancing, rich laughter in the rain,
Mother Earth`s sustaining water, delivered by cool showers,
Transforms red desert sands, into a sea of purple flowers.
****
INDIGO ANGEL
Indigo angel, so sure but uncertain,
What glories lie behind the purple curtain,
Draw it aside and cast all doubt away,
Let the sun shine on your healing pathway,
Rockets and fireworks, explode upon high,
As angels celebrate at the edge of the sky,
A lone warrior waits, and will always be there,
Guided to you, by the Great Spirit bear.
****
FOREVER ONE
Lone warrior reached out to an angel’s hand.
In a dark and desperate hostile land
Fought long, with her at his side,
On that bleak, wild, moonlit mountainside,
Exhausted and bloodied, he held her so tight,
As the suns probing rays, signalled first light.
In silence, they kissed and wiped tears from their eyes, The angel departed, flew back to the skies,
A warrior lay down, whispered in pain,
When will I see my angel again?
****
Love and fight for her as you once did for me,
Try every door in the house of dreams,
When you discover the locked one,
You know who holds the key.
****
Many dream but few become,
Warrior and angel, forever one,
Great Spirit bear beats the shamans drum,
Through vision smoke, he calls, she comes,
Walk the red path, towards the rising sun,
Warrior and angel, forever one.
****
REMEMBRANCE DAYS
Their faith in me I couldn’t keep,
Painful memories linger deep
They followed, where once I led,
No more tomorrows for yesterday’s dead.
****
Shaman leads me to a place, all warriors long to go,
Where the red sun sets on golden mountains,
no wind of pain ever blows,
Sat beside pure crystal fountains in the shade of mighty trees,
An Angel whispers healing to the warrior who wants to be.
****
I silently called, you unconditionally came,
A beautiful stranger with an angel’s name,
You healed and more, now I dream for two,
To walk life`s abundant shores, vibrant and renewed.
****
SHAMANS WAY
Shaman knows my thoughts and dreams,
Heals me in ways unseen,
Radiant in purple bright,
Guides me back into the light,
Angel from the fallen sky,
Taught the warrior how to fly.
****
Eagle’s nest,
Warriors rest,
Angels dream,
See but unseen,
Cloaked in green,
Bubbling stream,
Light and bright,
Mystical delight.
****
She rides ahead with painted face,
To signal victory,
For she healed the wounds,
That others could not
