About this ebook

A book which has been simplistically written in style as well as in context. The book traverses the journey of the main event of Migrant Labor Exodus into the Rural part of India after an abrupt Lockdown was announced across the country which has a population of 1.38 Billion. The other occurrences revolve around the core one. Consequently, each even page is pictographically dedicated to the cause.

India was given 4 hours of prep time! But, was that enough…

The Book not only with words but also with Pictures represents, the woeful plight of the Labor Class of India and how they were left stranded and forsaken not only by the Leadership, but also by the rich and the powerful, who could've done their bit to at least feed the bunch of resources devoid and least informed people.

There were however patches of empathy which were heartening to see, defining the true core of India's Soul. But we were left to ask our inner selves - have we done enough for our society with the highest levels of assiduity and rectitude? Were we able to heal up the wide gaping wounds of our faltering healthcare infrastructure? What were the aftermaths of the Lockdown? Was the Lockdown Successful? I have tried to give it a burl.

Political neutrality has been maintained all along, as I am a firm believer that India needs a timely purging and cleansing of its political system from the current array of cookies. The system needs to do away with rotting and draconian British Formulated laws from the 18th and the 19th centuries.

A new race of honest, young and enthusiastic people such as Bhagat Singh (this book neither supports nor disregards any religion, all people and religions are equal) from the yester era need to lay hold of the baton now. People possessed with empathy, compassion and good will, who shall not create centers of POWER, but of learning, healthcare, creativity, discernment and reformation with the right mix of employment opportunities so that crime will have been mitigated altogether. India shall then will have been lifted out of the veil of money grubbing & power showcasing thoughtlessness she had gotten engulfed into from the moment she got her independence.

Greatest Migrant Exodus - India's 'Grand' Pandemic Lockdown - Ra Gandhi

    Lockdown Day 50:

Chapter 1 - Overdue but Sweeping

I am only 50 Days late in giving forth a neutral account of what I watch or hear on the news channels about the most gargantuan lockdown of humankind in the history of this planet, or so I would like to believe. I will attempt to present to the reader a neutral perspective of what is happening in my country of birth, India, as it gets battle-scarred by the novel corona virus.

The aim is to not side with any party (government or non-government, ruling or opposition), as I have always had this innate aspiration deep within me, to keep my foot all steady and anchored on the middle path before I come to make a conclusion on a topic.

Hence, this book is more of a commentary, just the way Sanjaya played his part in the epic of the Mahabharata, presented the on ground happenings during the war to his master. My master, in this case, is the chakra* of time.

To throw in a light hearted comment; before we tread forward – I do not understand the concept of religion, therefore I am neither in support of one religion nor against another.

Greatest Migrant Exodus: India's 'Grand' Pandemic Lockdown

After a stretched-out address (which always looks like a speech) from the Prime Minister to the nation last night, where he announced an economic stimulus package of 20 Lakh Crores

Subsequently, I felt that the 50th day of the lockdown would be the right time to commence with the writing of this book, which will lead you into the content where you will get a real glimpse of how India has been tackling with the Novel Corona Virus or the
