Introduction:

TO START, LET ME SAY that I’m very happy you ended up here. I love to help aspiring authors like you, it’s a true passion of mine. Why is that? Simply put, I’m an author too. I’ve gone deeper and deeper into the business of writing and selling books over the past few years and I have gleaned a lot of valuable information that I’d like to share with you. The information in this book will help you to sell more books, it will help you prioritize what books to write and it will give you a concrete method to discern if you have a topic worth discussing.

The method that will be discussed is my own creation. It’s the scoring system that I run every book idea through to see if it passes the test. I’ve learned through some trial and error that... as good as an idea may seem, when ran through my 25-point Miracle Method, it doesn’t always hold up. That is why it’s such a valuable tool, it dives deeper then most of you are probably accustom to diving.

Sections of this book will include writing prompts and I encourage you to take an extremely academic approach when going through this book. Do the prompts, don’t rush, don’t skip, don’t... not do it. It will help you in so many ways. It will help you identify areas of strengths, areas where you may be weak and newfound insights that you won’t want to forget. Science has said that writing something down is the best way to remember something, so let’s do that.

This is the first book I’ve put together in over a year. I’ve been focusing more on my career as a publisher but... if I’m being honest, I’m writing this as the coronavirus sweeps through California. My service work has slowed down, and I have a lot more time to devote to this idea that I’ve had for quite a while now. I have my first baby boy on the way in a few months and I’m thankful for being forced to stay inside so that I can get going on this book for you.

It’s truly important to know what to write about, or even what angle to take when writing about a particular subject. For example, I could’ve titled this book, The 25-Point Miracle Method and just left it at that, with no further explanation. However, doing that wouldn’t have reached out to my audience... I’m talking about you!
