Four Eyes, Spike, Smarty, and Mimiguel. Secret Detectives - A.P. Hernández
CHAPTER 1
Their names are Pablo, Miguel, Alejandro, and Carlos, but almost no one knows them by these names.
If you go to his school and ask about Pablo, they will probably ask you: Pablo? Pablo who?
And if you ask about Miguel, people will almost certainly ask you: Which Miguel are you referring to? The one from the 1st, 3rd, 5th, or 6th grade?
And if curiosity grabs you and you want to meet Alejandro, you better not ask for him by name, because the students will shrug their shoulders without knowing which Alejandro you want to see.
But, please, do not even think about asking for Carlos. If you do, you will most likely end up in the principal's office, because it turns out that the principal is called Carlos ... Or rather, Mr. Carlos.
My advice is to ask about Four Eyes, Spike, Smarty, and Mimiguel.
This way you will get straight to the point. And there is no boy, girl, father, mother, grandfather, or grandmother who does not know them.
● Pablo is called Four Eyes because he wears glasses. Of course, calling a person Four Eyes just because they wear glasses is silly. Above all, because there are a lot of children at school who wear glasses and nobody calls them Four Eyes. Only Pablo.
● Miguel is called Mimiguel because he is a little stutterer. When he gets nervous (and he has been nervous most of the day lately) he repeats a few syllables.
● Alejandro is nicknamed Spike because his mother always insists on greasing all his hair well. She puts so much gel on his hair that it becomes stiff and hard like the spikes of a hedgehog.
● And Carlos is known as a Smarty because he is smart. If you want to know any date, information, or curiosity about something, Carlos surely knows.
Pablo, Miguel, Alejandro, and Carlos are very, very, but very close friends, and they are also classmates. The four are ten years old and, for a few months, have been the only members of the
SUPER, UNIQUE, EXCLUSIVE, AND TOP-SECRET DETECTIVE CLUB.
Of course, this is a secret. The detective club is super-secret and nobody in the world knows of its existence.
It is a club so, so, so super-mega-top secret, that when they refer to it, they do so under the code name WHITE HEN.
Shhhh!
Pablo said that morning to his table companion, Miguel,. During the courtyard break today we will go to the White Hen, okay?
Okay, okay,
Miguel replied.
At all school breaks, Pablo, Miguel, Alejandro, and Carlos meet at the official headquarters of the detective club: the school storage room.
But they have to do it carefully, making sure no one sees them.
As follows:
They gather by the front door and start talking about
