Sofia yawned and stretched in the bed, tugging the blankets a little tighter. Though it was spring, she was still chilly. The window was open but she was too sleepy to stand and shut it.

She’d been up late the night before, watching romance movies while Jameson was out late with his clients. He’d been working on some big project, something about opening a planetarium in his name.

If Sofia was completely honest, she hadn’t listened to his whole story. Jameson was always working on a big project, and the end results were, of course, breathtaking. The problem was the work.

He worked late, and after work he would find himself saying yes to his colleagues and coworkers each time they asked him out to be bar.
