    Oh Great Gong of Life

Teach me to hear the voice, the Cosmic sound that reveals its energy as Aum. Create the sacred Aum vibrations; expand my consciousness as I listen. May I feel the cosmic ocean and the little waves upon the shore. Reverberate through me, from my body to the universe, and teach me to feel perennnial bliss. Oh cosmic sound of Aum, with your infinite wisdom; guide me, be with me, lead me on my precious journey, and recharge me with the energy of love.

The Holy Sound of Aum by Yogananda

    adapted from Metaphysical Meditations

    Dear Readers,

Like the process of spontaneity in playing gong, I have synthesized in divinatory manner, these writings. Each essay may be read in any order or sequenced. they are like wild flowers emerging from nature’s garden. Included are verses from Seed Songs of the One Gong. These verses are called Shrutis because they reveal the authentic self of the singer. Shruti Song Sayings ofered within are excerpts.

    In Healing Resonance,

    Don

    INTRODUCTION

The following 13 essays are a continuation of Writings On The Gong. It is an ongoing communication between the universal gong consciousness and our selves as its representatives, its close friends.

Since 1969 I have not been able to write but what the gong speaks through me.

Please enjoy these offerings. As you read you will find repeated themes expressed in different ways. May the music of these thoughts be supportive to your gongmaster consciousness and its transvolutionary process.
