Fulfilling The Ministry - Edward King
INTRODUCTION
The Call of God is mainly because there is a ministry God desires to bring forth in and through your life. The Call to ministry is a life time event. And God calling you into ministry is giving you a lifetime training.
The ministry is the reason for the calling. You’re called for a ministry, and you are called with a ministry. Without a ministry, there will be no calling.
But without a proper understanding of the true nature of God’s call on your life, and a thorough giving of one’s self to the powerful laws and principles under guiding the operation of that call, fulfilling the ministry, for which cause you are called, will be near impossibility.
This book was written mainly to serve as a practical guide to answering and pursuing God’s call on your life, and to empower you with the necessary prerequisites to fulfill the ministry.
The book mainly is full of instructions, given mainly to guide, direct and bring clarity as to what the calling and ministry is as ordained by God.

DEDICATION
Iwill like to dedicate this book, first and ultimately, to God my Everlasting FATHER, Who inspired the words in this writing. And secondly, to my upcoming Generation, and all who have upon their lives the genuine call of God, and who are committed to pursuing that call, and desire to serve selflessly and in love, the Kingdom of our LORD and CHRIST, and desire also, to see His Purposes for all HUMANITY fully realized.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
This book is born mainly out of the tireless, selfless work, instructions, guidance, vision and teachings of KN David, my mentor and spiritual father. And my lovely wife and friend, Josephine King, who helped put the pieces together, did a part editing of the manuscript, and gave me support and encouragement while I wrote this book.
CHAPTER ONE
LIVING IN THE FRESHNESS OF YOUR CALL TO MINISTRY
YOUR STRENGTH OF COURAGE is to follow and pursue your divine calling. If God calls a man, if that man doesn’t walk with that calling in its freshness, that is, living daily in its consciousness and awareness, that calling may lose value.
You keep alive the calling by always pursuing it. You don't pursue ministry, you pursue the calling. It is the calling of God on your life that gives birth to the ministry.
Without a call, you cannot have a ministry. The ministry is because of a calling in your life. The Call is first before the ministry. Hence it is the call you must pursue before the ministry will show forth itself. The calling has to be a current function and a now reality with you. It has to be something fresh with you and in you. You must be living daily in its freshness.
DISTRACTIONS AND THE CALL
SURELY, THERE ARE MANY things that should distract a man naturally in life and from his calling. But understand, there’s a great prize for the calling. God and gaining divine glory, is the hope of the man called.
If a man out of his strength and weakness strives for his divine calling, God stands with that man, and that brings abiding grace. It is you having your call now at breast that makes it tangible before heaven.
Every calling as I already mentioned, naturally attracts distractions. When God calls you, you must understand, He is calling you against the tides. The tides are your distractions and the challenges of your Call.
His call on your life is for you to ride against the tides and against the challenges of life, and rise into the higher dimension and order of your divine calling, which is the course for which cause you are called. That is what it means to prevail.
It is these tides and challenges that actually prepares you for the Calling. So know this, that when you are called, you are
