Puppy Training Guide - Anna Mary

    Conclusion

    Introduction

DOGS ARE HUMAN’S BEST friend. Their loyalty is out of this world. They treat their owners with so much affection and at times can be compared to humans with the amount of bond they tend to share with their owners.

They can be so jovial and playful but you definitely don’t want to be on the bad side of a dog. Burglars can definitely testify to this when they pick a house with a guard dog to burgle. If you’re a person who loves to cuddle, then a dog is your best option (just get one with a lot of furs and make sure you don’t have any allergies).

Their use in the human’s world can’t be underestimated. The reasons why people get dogs vary. Some people do for companionship while others for protection. They possess a sense of smell that is quite similar to that of humans and superior. Their strong sense of smell is used by the police to pick up scents and chase down the trails of criminals. Not to forget the immeasurable happiness they bring to people across the globe.

Dogs also have a very good memory. Once a dog spots an unfamiliar face in its surroundings, it starts barking to alert the humans around. They even express emotions at times. When a dog is wagging its tail, tongue out, teeth flashing and jumping wildly, you can definitely tell such a dog is happy. Visually impaired people will testify to the fact that they wouldn’t be able to do anything without their walking dogs. These are dogs that are trained to help them with moving around and doing basic things.

This brings us to the importance of dog training. Most of the aforementioned traits and characters in dogs require special training to make these lovely animals comply. The training of dogs to become house pets has been since the 1950s. Basically, dog training is using events that occur in the environment to train dogs. This enables the dogs to undertake specific activities or to be able to inhabit a contemporary domestic life.

Imagine having a dog who poops everywhere around the house. This could be quite frustrating having to pack poop around the house but if a dog has been trained to poop at a designated place, the problem is solved. This kind of training is known as potty training. A dog can also be trained to obey basic commands such as to sit; to go into its kernel and so on.

Sometimes punishment might even be required in training a dog. Dog training can even be as advanced as teaching the dog languages and so on. This really helps the dog to participate in daily activities better and even be a better companion or a more efficient protector. It also makes dogs more sophisticated and helps them to develop a better relationship with humans.

To not dive too much into the content of the book, I’ll stop here and hope you find this book very useful in training your puppy.
