Chapter 1

In the years after the Great Chicago Flood, millions of people retreated inland to escape the chaotic drought and flood cycles of Lake Michigan. Illinois needed to form a government sponsored Megacity that merged the citizenry of Chicago, Peoria, and their outlying suburbs: Peoriago.

Overcrowding led to urban blight, unemployment, and the formation of a seedy criminal element. Soon a third of the city was dedicated to strip clubs, drug dens, and whore houses. Often all three under one roof.

Warren was sheltered by just such a roof. His Japanese-American father died from a stress induced heart attack when he was twelve, after one of his engineering projects for Animore Labs fell hopelessly behind. His Midwest beauty queen mother hung on for four more years, before the drugs and booze caught up. He was born into debt, indentured young, and introduced to the rough trade when his small body couldn’t handle the pace of sweatshop work.

Everything that held him back as a manual laborer enhanced his value as an erotic performer at The Silver Tit pleasure club. His fine, shoulder-length black hair fluttered theatrically in the slightest breeze. His five foot, six inch tall body was nearly hairless, making it easy to keep his bronze skin fully shaved for the crowd.
