Mind Stop

Poetry has fostered my growth and learning ever since the age of 14 till the present day. This book holds, only, a year worth of poetry that has shaped me and been a part of my journey through life and its perception. I started Mind Stop as a Facebook page on the 24th of June 2016, and ever since, my poetry has grown past serving a personal purpose of venting, perception and art creation, to being a mirror to those who read it. To see themselves through it, reflect their capabilities, and inherent strength. To stand as a token of resilience and healing; to prove that everything you set your mind to, you can achieve with hard work and passion.

You think winds run , translucent , sheer

But rose, not all you see nor hear –

Ordinary sparks no means,

Seams , freed and spoken, are of soul-

You are what your eyes and core sees

And so it flows ,you find your soul ,

And one ,that binds minds, to it all -

Like constellations, happenings bound,

Time lead to ,finding, what's deemed sound -

What twinkles, finds a way past doubt

Not far fetched ,non elapsed -this round -

Look for the incidents and gifts,

Eventually, everything connects -

Effaces transience of winds

Past ,mere thought, glimpses won't beget

Reach out- will stars ,and seams, connect

Tailored seams, of winds and means

Routes lead to one - souls happen when

Encounter one - known none; genuine -

Smiles like known of and flows again-

Seen glimpses - sound of words beget

What roses thought of - deemed far fetched-

Prayers that lead the way will set

Will show what roses ,of that, get-

What listens -sees ?

Do you hold back-

Or dare release?

Entwines of minds -pictured- in lines

Fill worldly eyes - see past mere times

When thought would end or start / appease -

A mind that thinks -likewise- won’t cease-

Won’t pass what pends

Won’t lose an end

Will keep- till listens or so speaks -

A rose - you be

Your mind of hues

Words heal like dews

It’s time for you

To see that through

Time to believe

I am given two stars to see

In a constellation -one-

Both shine with light unlike my eyes

Yet one -to me- holds on -

Both have ,to different worlds, inclined

Yet I recon that -one-

Is unlike the other -despite- my mere knowledge knows none -

Yet my intentions -and it- align

They draw a vivid realm-

One has the conscious to
