To live a full life, it matters not what titles we earn. All that matters is what we have done for others.

    Reverberating Divine Life

    The Role of Peace-Minded People

    by Masami Saionji

The soul is a brilliant light

Those whom I call ‘peace-minded’ or ‘spiritually independent’ people’ are those who have awakened to their existence as divine life. When human beings, no matter who they are, transfer to the next world, they leave their physical bodies in this world, and, without exception, their souls fly up to divine and spiritual realms. At that moment, all souls become light itself as they slip out of their physical garment. Even if a person has lived selfishly and accumulated a great deal of negative karma in this world, or has spent their days with anguished feelings in harsh or tragic circumstances, their soul is light itself.

Now, humanity needs a more fundamental solution. That is to say, we need a transformation in consciousness. This is because, no matter how many times we may avert wars or hold back the destruction of nature, if humanity does not make a fundamental change in its consciousness, the same conditions will surface over and over again.

The relationship between the soul and the physical body resembles that of the sun and clouds—the sun being the soul, and the clouds, the physical body. When we transfer to the next world, the many layers of thick clouds (the physical body) that surrounded the sun (the soul) are perfectly cleared away, and the brilliantly shining sun (soul) is vividly revealed.

All souls—whether they have given pain to others, committed crimes or engaged in terrorist activities, or whether they have accumulated words and actions of love, beauty, and truth—are guided at least once by their guardian spirits and guardian divinities to their place of origin, the divine and spiritual worlds. In these realms, the souls are never blamed for their wrongdoings, nor are they shown their negative karma. This is because God is all-encompassing love itself and forgiveness itself, and God never passes judgment on us. Everything is completely
