Sara and Light - Mayasa Altoura

    Dedication

I feel the silence and quietness inside me  This feeling increases every day.  Is this my truth?  I observe what's inside me  I've been listening more to myself, my thoughts, and feelings  I am eagerly waiting for what's next this silence  I feel peaceful, safe, and that everything is good   I have been walking through my way with confidence and comfort I've known I have the choice and that I choose love at every moment.  I feel that I have changed and been stronger and more assured  Thank God, I know you are always with me everywhere   My soul greets your nice souls  I send you all love, appreciation, and gratitude    I dedicate my book to every honest truth-seeking soul

    Introduction

This is the story of Sara, a ten-year old girl, who moved with her small family; a family of a father, mother, and a three-year old brother, into a new home located in a different area.

Sara is a smart girl of high-level cognition that helps her guess what people around her feel; whether they feel comfort of worry, whether they feel afraid or feel love, and likes to sit in silence and read stories; she loves her parents and often finds them busy and exhausted. She asks herself when she sees them, Will Ì be like them when I get older?

She feels annoyed and has negative feelings she's never experienced before when she was younger. She has a lot of questions about life, but she never asks anyone. She sits in silence and watches what's around her, she loves her young brother and plays with him a lot, but he never gets bored of playing,. She looks in his eyes where she finds glittering happiness and delight, and asks herself whether she had ever been like him one day.

The family arrived at the new house and parked the car before it; it is a two-floor house with a balcony that overlooks a small garden where there are a large tree, plants and some flowers. The mother said, It's nice!, Yes, it is, the father replied.

As for now, we have to wait for the arrival of the truck carrying our luggage, Oh, look; it's arrived, the father continued. They got out of the car, the mother opened the rear door to take the young boy out of it, Sara left the car while looking at the house and then said, There is a garden too, and then she opened the house’s door and entered inside while running happily.

The father went to help the truck driver with getting the luggage inside the house. Sara came out of the house while her mother was carrying her young brother, then the mother walked toward the garden and said to Sara, Look at this large tree, its branches have entered your room. They both stared in silence at the tree; it is a giant tree that seemed hundreds of years old. Is this my room? Sara asked her mother while pointing to the open window. Yes, it is, the mother replied.

Sara entered the house running on the stairs, headed to her room, and then said: I've finally got my own room... She threw herself on the bed, looked around, and saw the light pink wall on which there was a picture of flowers; it was light green with shades of pink. The room contained nothing except that picture and the bed, Well, I will put my library beside the window,

The window was slightly open and a branch of the giant tree has entered the room through that window. Sara walked toward the branch, held it gently and said, It has nice green leaves. She heard her mother calling her; she came down the stairs, and found the luggage in the hall. The father said, We will rearrange the luggage later because I feel tired, Ok, let's have dinner, the father continued. They sat down at the table and the mother brought pies. Sara had dinner and was looking at her brother while eating, laughing, and playing.

Her mother said, Sara! Tomorrow is your first day at the new school; summer vacation has come to an end. Sara felt anxious, and remembered that she will start school tomorrow, will meet and get to know new friends.

Her father asked her, Are you excited?, Yes, I am, she replied anxiously without showing any excitement, and when they finished having dinner, she kissed her father, mother, and little brother and they wished her a good night.

Sara went to her room, threw herself on the bed, and started thinking that she does not want to go to the new school, closed her eyes for some time, and then heard a sound as if it was the rustling of the tree beside her window.

She looked through the window and saw the tree that she sat watching in silence, and then she heard a pleasant voice saying, Hello, Sara, how are you? Sara was frightened and then replied, Who's talking?, It's me, the tree replied.  Who are you? Sara asked. It's me, the tree, don't be scared of me, the tree replied.
