Also in this script, we will review the present state of quantum communication research and what the future direction is in this field of science. We are equally going to place special emphasis on quantum network as well as quantum key distribution.

    INTRODUCTION

    Quantum Communication is the act of conveying a quantum state from one location to another. The traditional name of the receiver is Bob, while that of the sender is Alice; it is another way of saying the quantum state is transferred from point A to B. Basically, quantum state is used in coding quantum information and the codes are referred to as qubits; this is in agreement with the 2D Hilbert Spaces. If certain tasks are carried out using classical information, the outcome may be far from being efficient compared to when such tasks are carried out using quantum information. The best form of quantum state is called Quantum Key Distribution (QKD).

    Quantum communication has completely changed the way humans think as regards quantum physics. The very first protocol for quantum communication was established in 1984 and 1991. It generated interest from researchers from various fields of experimental and theoretical physics. Researchers in the fields of computer sciences
