About this ebook
Mechatronics, even though the term may not sound familiar
but it was originated long back in 1969. This is just another
field of engineering that multiplies different subfield such as
mechanics, electronics, electrical, computer science engineering,
control engineering and more. Basically, this is considered as
the combination of mechanical engineering and electronics. The
main aim of this mechatronics is to design a product that is a
combination of all the field, technologies and system. The
example and application of this subject are witnessed in every
small aspect of our daily life while Robotics is one of the
biggest examples of that. Another aim of mechatronics is to
create more advanced technology by improvising and optimizing
the functionalities of the products. Techniques from all the
subfields are used to create a unique product. The importance
of the term is massive in the industry and the same term is
known by different names in various countries.

Summary
Tetsuro Mori, a popular Japanese engineer from the company named Yaskawa Electric Corporation is the actual founder of the term Mechatronics. He created this subject in order to improve the production process and to create a design that is far more advanced. Initially, this term was registered as trademark during 1969 and then later on the company unconfined the right of using the term Mechatronics to all over the world. So, the introduction of Mechatronics was done long back but it is very recently the term is getting recognized.
The application of Mechatronics is witnessed in everyday life which includes washing machine, camera, laser printers, automatic robot, photocopies etc.
This subject is an engineering field that combines various subfields such as mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, optical engineering and control engineering. So, the students
