When Ju tells Stanley about a special, secret scripture and a medallion that has been passed down through many generations conveying extraordinary powers, Stanley is interested, due to the criminal element that has moved into Chinatown making normal existence impossible for the inhabitants. The scripture gives three levels of specialized tasks (physical, mental and spiritual) taking about four years to accomplish by the right candidate. Fulfilling the first part of the program Stanley, the warrior, takes the title of White Knight. He often wears a hero’s uniform when actually doing battle with his adversaries and disguises himself as a blind man when working undercover.
