This is where my story begins and another ends. It was two a.m., pitch black outside when a loud wail startled the entire household. My household, the grand Wu Xing estate was the wealthiest in the province, set on five hectares of manicured land, with gardens and trees more looked after than a new born babe. Gold gilded gates locked out any disturbances from the outside world so I was surprised to hear how close this strange wail sounded. It was coming from within the walls of the estate.
