    A strange, mournful howling I hear from the woods beyond. When I looked , the hairs stand on end – a white shimmery figure of a woman lingers just beyond the white gates of my garden,holding a parasol in one hand, she strokes the back of giant black phantom panther with her other.

    The phantom panther and his lady, they haunt the lengths of the closed Old Road- their story almost forgotten until one day, hundreds of years later, someone finds the locket they have been looking for.

    Now they want that locket.

    A Nightmare

    Startled, I sat up in bed. Something had awakened me. All around me, there was complete stillness, no sound, nothing except for that strange voice calling my name. I rubbed my eyes and peered hard into the darkness. Was I hearing things? Have I been dreaming? The night was cold and still after a heavy rain yet beads of sweat trickled down my forehead. My heart was racing. After a short pause of silence, I heard it again.

    Randy...Randy…Randy Moore…! it whispered. So close was it that I thought it had come from someone lying right next to me! I turned my head sharply to the window.

    Summoning my courage, I leapt out from my warm sheets and threw the window open. Immediately, a cold block of early morning air boxed me in the face as the white lace curtains billowed wildly above me. The howling wind grew louder and louder and so did the
