- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5“Hoppy Passover” explains the traditions and routines followed by members of the Jewish community. I enjoyed reading this book for many reasons. The first I enjoyed reading this book is all the different traditions that take place during Passover. The book displays different food that is eaten on Passover as well as songs that are sung, and games that are played. I appreciate other cultures and especially other cultures food. The language used in the book followed a pattern as the book progressed. The language used in the book was predictable when the rabbit said, “This is what I love about Passover” after every routine was finished. The main idea of this book revolves around family and respecting culture as well as traditions.
