Chapter 1 - Ruth

Ruth had always been considered a little strange, introvert, odd, some said publicly, what they really meant was completely crazy. But she didn't care what other people thought of her, she didn't need them or their validation, their opinions washed over her without leaving any stain. She was contented in her own world, a fascinating and wonderful world in her mind, she wasn't crazy.

How did she know that for sure? she always smiled when the question was posed, Josie wouldn't lie to her, Josie never lied, and she had been her best friend for years.
