Dr. Cooper's Finishing School for Incels

About this ebook
Edward Robinson finds himself transported to a bleak North Dakota location where he is forcibly enrolled in a new type of college, a finishing school for involuntary celibates. Eddy compares his imprisonment to Hogwarts, but there is one big difference. In addition to regularly scheduled sex therapy sessions, all the "students"--both male and female--must wear shock collars to keep their thoughts and actions away from sex. This screenplay is for the pilot episode of a new series. For adults only.
Ruth Heflin
My father was the Storyteller and my mother was the Reader. Between them, my love of a good story was fostered at a very young age. I used to fill Big Chief tablets with story after story, my hand barely big enough to hold those fat pencils. Even though I fantasized about being an archeologist (back BEFORE Indiana Jones), or a veterinarian, or an architect (before my high school principal told me GIRLS don't become architects; the swine!), my interests always returned to writing. As stories flow through me, I feel at one with the cosmos, clearly understanding why ancient writers believed they were inspired by muses. I achieved all my professional goals in the time frame I allotted myself in 8th grade, then found myself the victim of someone else's vanity and ambition--losing my full-time job in the process. I realized then that I could become a bitter old woman, or I could do what I always felt called to do--write. So I choose to write. Find my works under the names Ruth J. Heflin or Rajah Hill.

INT. CAR – DAY
Shot from EDDY’s perspective.
No music; just the hum of tires on asphalt.
View is of a highway in North Dakota stretching northward through the windscreen of a car.
Winter: windswept snow blows across the highway; some is caught in small piles against grass and road signs.
The camera view should blink. Even in his fugue state in the back of the car, EDDY notices the golden white gleam toward their left on the far horizon miles before they reach it.
The camera (EDDY) blinks again, focusing briefly on the backs of the heads of the two men (GUARD ONE and GUARD TWO) in the front of the car, both dressed in dark colors.
EDDY glances quickly past the odometer, which is visible from where he sits in his straight jacket, it’s one crotch strap pinching his testicles painfully.
EDDY (EDWARD ROBINSON)
(Off Screen; moans softly looking down at his lap)
This strap.
EDDY notices the mile marker, 232, by the side of the very flat, seemingly endless road the state optimistically calls a highway.
The golden white gleam finally begins to take shape six miles up the road, although it was set far off the highway toward the west.
EDDY (O.S.)
The highway’s clear. Where is everybody?
The men in the front don’t respond.
The golden castle on the prairie is clearly surrounded by miles of snow, much of which had drifted into huge iceberg-like clots against the occasional stand of trees or fence line.
The van turns off the highway onto a dirt road and heads directly toward the sandstone castle, which is what the golden gleam is.
A high black fence-line spreads for miles across the new road. EDDY sees a glimpse of cold blue ice beyond, and then the hulk of the castle sits like British royalty dropped in middle America. Huge towers show at the corners of a large wall, with a large keep just visible above the walls.
EDDY
Shit, they are going to throw me in a dungeon?
FLASHBACK – INT. LIVING ROOM OF A NICE HOME – DAY
MOTHER
(watching while he’s strapped into the straight jacket)
Don’t worry, EDDY. Your attorney assures us that DR. COOPER’s school is not a prison, although there will be many…restrictions on your…behavior.
EDDY
(angry, not looking at his mother)
Why won’t you be able to visit me?
FATHER
(staring out the window)
It’s a condition of your sentencing, Ed. If you behave yourself for a year…
MOTHER
It’s supposed to be a great school, EDDY.
INT. CAR – DAY
The car hums quietly as the great black metal gates roll open. The deeply black asphalt drive leads them to a bridge, a large cattle guard which is literally dropping down over the moat surrounding the castle.
After rattling noisily over the bridge, the car drives slowly into the bailey of the castle—a huge courtyard with a large patch of green lawn surrounded by a circular gravel drive.
His guards, two burly men, step out of the car. The
