This book “Once Upon A Time in Umuaka” is an anthology of short stories involving fantasies, horror, thriller, drama, tragedy and historical plots all compiled into a fictitious work of art. It contains African stories, Western stories and a hybrid of the two, to give the reader a wide area of satisfaction from reading this work of art.
The stories were narrated in a way that made the plots unpredictable and not necessarily narrated by the author himself but by one of the characters in the story. It is the first story book published by the author and his third published book giving the reader fresh and invigorating satisfaction from reading stories.

Emmanuel Chikwado Aghado hails from Njaba LGA in Imo State, Nigeria. He completed his Master's degree in IT from Clark University, MA, USA. He discovered his enthusiasm for writing soon after gaining an undergraduate admission at Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria. He has since written poetry, short stories & plays. His previous book is entitled '101 Short Love Poems' published by Dorrance publishers.
