About this ebook
When novice P.I. Geri Sullivan first heard her adopted Chihuahua talk, she thought she'd gone barking mad. But it turns out Pepe is a savvy sleuth--and if he has his way, he'll soon be a bone-a-fido celebrity, too, as Pepe and Geri are Hollywood-bound to star in the reality show Dancing With Dogs. So far, so bueno.
Then Nigel St. Nigel, the judge everyone loves to hate, becomes the judge someone wanted dead. Pepe and Geri are hot on a killer's heels but between perfecting the paso doble and protecting Pepe's Pomeranian lady love, both have their paws full. If Pepe's new status as a Beverly Hills Chihuahua goes to his head, it may be the last waltz for Geri's crime-biting compadre. . .

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5There are great advantages to having an author as a neighbor and this is one of them. The Chihuahua series is my summer relaxation read - one half of the Waverly Curtis authorial team brings me a read and I escape into the world of Pepe and Geri for a few days.
If you like animals and a quick detective story, these are the books for you. They are a nice quick story with a light and breezy mystery attached. Pepe is a cute talking chihuahua, Jimmy G is a classic "hard boiled" detective and Geri is someone trying to find her way in the world without being too heavy.
These are the books I pick up between my other reads. These are the books I read on the days when my mind is just too tired. I read this whole book between naps on the last two days. It was perfect. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A detective chihuahua who talks to its owner? Yes. It works in this series. While the mystery is very good, it is only made more entertaining with Pepe's dialogue. He is among the most charming of cozy mystery characters. It is obvious that Waverly Curtis knows the attitude of a chihuahua.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Picks up with where "Dial C for Chihuahua" leaves off. Pepe is on Dancing With the Dogs. This is funny. I love the characters, especially Pepe. He has an answer for everything.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Pepe is a cute Chihuahua with "soft white fur, big brown eyes, and mucho attitude" and can talk to his new owner, Geri Sullivan. And she seems to be the only person who can understand him.Geri, down on her luck, decides to become a private investigator. Her new boss is Jimmy G. Geri's first case is sloving a Murder of a Seattle millionaire. Pepe proves to be invaluable. This book if fun and hilarious. I laughed out loud. This is a great story for dog lovers and non dog lovers alike.
