About this ebook
For over a hundred years, the Ludwig Travelling Carnival had become a staple across the lands. Kids and adults alike would visit and take advantage of the vast entertainment on offer. Throughout the years, the carnival evolved, but the patrons were always greeted by the array of the games with their almost unobtainable prizes. Their noses were hit by the aromas of cheap but flavourful snacks; popcorn, hotdogs, cotton candy. The rides usually consisted of dodgems, merry go-rounds and the famous ferris wheel that loomed over the site. Towards the back there was a circus and a variety of sideshows. Here lurked sights sometimes of an adult nature that was not for the faint of heart.
In all of the time of the Ludwig Travelling Carnivals existence, there were myths that followed it. Most famously that any adult of reasonable age would find more then they bargained for. Tales surrounded the carnival of members of the public being drawn to sexual encounters not found anywhere else.

Penny Peep Show
(1932)
The woman seemed forever out of his grasp...
Her name was Penny. She had a round face with blonde hair hanging down and seductive eyes straight out of a silent movie. Her body wasn't too slim, but rounded in all the right places. In Thomas's private mind she had become the object of his affection. Every time she turned her head, her eye would glimmer almost suggestively. It was easy to fall for a girl like this. A girl like his boss’ wife.
They had never once spoken, but he had seen her plenty of times in the office. This did not upset Thomas too much, he knew his boundaries. He knew there was no point in obsessing in something unachievable. Any attempt could only lead to trouble. And as they would say; there are plenty of other fish in the sea.
He did however feel free to lust over her in private. It seemed harmless enough. Every time she walked past his desk he would glance at her rounded bottom and imagine she would give herself a slap as to say 'come and get it!' She would often appear in his mind when the most indecent activities were being performed.
He was of course sensible enough to know there would be no future. He resigned in the fact long ago. So resigned that it probably wasn't even worth mentioning Penny. She was just another woman in Thomas's life. Like his boss was just another man in his life. A woman like Penny comes in to every man’s life, sometimes several times over. A woman they see and think; "She's beautiful! That's the girl I want in my life." Only to then discover that any relationship would not be possible for one reason or the other. Usually she is already happily wedded. Most sensible men
