Day 1

Testing, testing

I really should be resting

I mean, after the day I’ve had

With even the Judge saying I’ve gone bad

So what, I killed my wife

Trust me, I don’t regret using that knife

For in her was an evil most foul

Wearing her face like a nightmarish cowl

So you see, it had to be done

My only other option was to pack up and run

But to do so would have left that evil free to roam

Destroying what was left of our marital home

If that is madness then can’t you see

Killing her was all that was left to me

So go ahead and call me mad
