    First story: How Bibu found his home

    Once upon a time there was a little girl. Her name was Kami and she wished so much to have some pet.

    Mommy, will you buy me a dinosaur? she asked her mom.

    No way, answered her mom, it wouldn’t even fit into our apartment. Choose something smaller. The girl began to wonder.

    Daddy, could I have a giraffe? That is smaller than a dinosaur, she tried to ask her dad instead.

    A giraffe wouldn’t have enough space here. It would have to walk with a bent neck all the time, because the ceiling isn’t high enough. Its back would ache, explained dad. Kami went on thinking.

    And what about a bear? It came to her mind, because in fairytales bears usually do live in houses. It could sleep in the bathtub. If I wished to take a shower, it surely would give me some space next to itself.

    Bears don’t sleep in a bathtub. We will choose together some animal that will be much smaller than a bear, but it will be the best animal for you, all right? Kami got a little sad, but then she thought that it is better to have some animal than none, and she began to be excited.

    The next day, they went to a pet shop. There, they sold fish, spiders, several budgerigars, and also one little shaggy ball, fitting right into one hand.

    That is a pretty plush ball, complimented Kami. The salesman behind the counter smiled:
