You really don’t mind?

Of course not, said Sam for the third time that morning. She glanced up from helping to pack the assortment of snacks her sister had made and offered her a confident smile. It’s no big deal, honestly. Now go back to bed instead of hovering over me. I’m nervous you’ll make me sick as well.

Lauren sniffed and wiped her nose with a tissue. I should’ve just cancelled today’s delivery, she murmured. Please, Sam, don’t worry about tomorrow. If I’m still not better, I’ll call around this afternoon and cancel the orders.

Don’t talk nonsense, Sam replied, shaking her head. All the food’s already made. Just give me a list of where it’s all supposed to go and stop worrying. I’ll do your deliveries all week if it means you’ll actually do what the doctor told you to do and stay in bed until you’re better.

Thanks, said Lauren. I really do appreciate this. She quickly turned away from the kitchen to cough into her hand.
