I should have known.
Honestly, when Taylor said that she’d finally decided to buy a car, I should have known what she’d had in mind. The two of us are so close, but our tastes have almost always run in opposite directions, and picturing Taylor coming home in a Beetle Convertible or something small and cute like that had obviously been my own daydream running wild.
What Taylor had actually decided on was a clunky, beat-up problem on wheels.
