About this ebook

DEVLIN BLUM always knew he was going to hell, just not taco hell.

But how can this be?

He's college educated; a man of many talents.

A few, short months ago he was on top of the world. And now? Reduced to begging for a job to sling together Spicy Tostadas and Mexican pizzas. Ay, caramba!

At least management seems all right. That is, until he crosses paths with a certain frog with a legendary appetite.

"Oh, take me away, Mexican master, Taco the Almighty, King of Crunchwraps... For I am merely a taquito in the greater Party Pack of life..." Devlin croaks.

A food misadventure for the ages, intended for children 9 and up. Approximately 12,300 words.

Descriptions of my other popular children's books are included after the main feature (an additional 5 pages).

To tacos. Am I loco for loving you?

    Fredrico FrillyfoamForgive Me, Taco Bell...

    Forgive Me, Taco Bell...

Yes, this adventure is set in an imaginary Taco Bell—my favorite fast food chain of all time! (Sorry, Del Taco...) Things get so crazy that I wanted to say up front that what follows would never happen at your local Taco Bell. For starters, they wouldn’t hire a crazy frog like Fredrico, or let him test out experimental menu items on customers. (Hopefully I’m not giving too much away...)

No, Taco Bell is just fine. It’s the author that’s a bit nutty, and don’t let this dissuade you from making a run for the border. (I do, on a daily basis now.)

And don’t despair. Nacho fries will make a comeback, eventually.

As for Cinnamon Crispas, well... You might want to have your cry now. They remain a relic of the past, a fond memory that in all likelihood will never grace a Taco Bell tray again.

Of course, anything can happen when it comes to Taco Bell. They did bring back nacho fries and rolled tacos at least once already. If all else fails, you might get lucky and find some ancient ones on eBay.

Who knows? If you have enough dough (or tacos), anything is possible...

    Chapter 1: An Unexpected Decline

    Chapter 1: An Unexpected Decline

I’d been on top of the world, sipped the finest wine by the Riveria on my adventures across Europe while working for little known U.S. intelligence agencies. I’d read reams of procedural documents and dry handbooks that were enough to make me scream. Surely I had screamed on several occasions, and my brain was now etched with so much security protocol jargon that I started to believe that my name was NIST. Somewhere along the way I’d settled into a posh setup. I’d convinced the powers that be (Or had they convinced me?) that I could do all of my work from home along with the occasional site visit, which surprisingly they accepted. Now living in beautiful Orlando, Florida, only a stone’s throw from the Magic Kingdom, I had it all: beautiful
