    Chapter 1

Tadzio Andresen Miller brushed his long, blond hair in the mirror’s reflection. As he gently rolled the soft bristles under a curl in his hair, he glanced at the padded bra he wore.

Tadzio set the brush down and gazed at himself, his full lips and painted eyes. Born a boy in Rosengård, Sweden, Tadzio knew he was a girl from an early age. With his androgynous looks and appeal, Tadzio was perfect for the fashion runways.

Slender, five-foot nine, Tadzio began taking hormone treatments at thirteen, avoiding growing a beard or filling out into a man. Since he was very fair-complected, he had very little body hair.

And soon, Tadzio was going to get breast augmentation, finally!

He was twenty-five years old, and had been dreaming of a full figure since he could remember.

Tadzio noticed movement in the mirror’s glass.

Warm hands ran down his shoulders and upper arms, and soft kisses caressed his neck.

Chills washed up Tadzio’s spine. He set the brush aside and purred as his forty-five year old husband, the former Los Angeles police officer turned CEO, ran kisses up his neck to his earlobe.

Steve, his blue eyes smoldering, his chiseled good looks sending Tadzio’s body into heat, stared at Tadzio through the mirror.

Tadzio turned to face him, and opened Steve’s jeans, tugging down the zipper. He dipped his fingers into Steve’s clothing, gazing at his husband as he did.

Do you want to come with me to help Mom unpack? Steve used his index finger to draw a line down Tadzio’s neck to his sternum.

Iz okay if I stay wit Alec? Tadzio touched Steve’s cock with his fingertips when he found Steve’s dick tucked to one side of his clothing.

Whatever you want. Steve kissed him; hot, sexy, swirling tongues.

When they parted, Tadzio smiled up at him. When we go back to Paradise?

I need to be at Miller-Richfield tomorrow morning.

Tadzio giggled, because the company’s name was Richfield-Miller International, but his powerful former cop, liked it his way. Yes, Steven.

I’ve requested the jet to take us back after dinner. So you can have a nice visit with Alex. Steve caressed Tadzio’s milky skin. When do you want to schedule the breast surgery?

Soon. I want soon. Tadzio removed his hand from Steve’s jeans and zipped them back up for him.

Why don’t you call Dr Love and find out when you can do it? I don’t mind coming back here for that.

But, I will stay here, wit Alec and Billy when I recover? Not home? Tadzio wrapped his arms around Steve’s waist, pressing their crotches together, gazing up at his tall man.

I don’t know how you’ll feel right after. I doubt you’ll be able to hop on a plane, even a private one. Steve rocked him side to side gently.

Yes. But, who will help wit Izak? Tadzio had offered to be a nanny for Mark Antonious Richfield’s newborn son. He and Steve, who was Mark’s ex-husband, and Mark’s new husband, Stan Charles Richfield, lived in a sprawling estate in Paradise, California.

You let Mark and Stan worry about that. I want you to be happy.

Oh, Steven… Tadzio hugged him tight. I am happy. So happy wit you.

Steve touched Tadzio under his chin and urged him to look into his eyes. When they met gazes, Steve said, I love you.

Tadzio crushed him in his embrace. I love you too.

    ~

Alexander Mark Richfield held a mug of coffee in his hand as he stood in the guest bedroom doorway. Steve and Tadzio were snuggling together; Tadzio in a red bra and matching panties, and Steve in jeans and a flannel shirt.

When Tadzio spied Alex watching, he smiled, making him appear bewitching with his painted eyes.

Alex had known the pretty blond for nearly ten years. He first met Tadzio when he was cast to star in a nighttime cable vampire TV series, Being Screwed. At the time, Alex had been married to Billy Sharpe, a police lieutenant twenty years his senior.

Alex thought he was the androgynous one on the TV show until this lithe blond hit the set.

Alex had never known someone personally who was transitioning from one gender to another. But…he certainly related to one thing about the gorgeous runway model; he also knew from a very young age, he was different. Gay.

Alex had never hidden in the closet. Never.

But, he also never had the urge to dress like a girl, nor wear makeup. The hormones Tadzio had been taking since pre-puberty had kept his features soft and feminine. It was Tadzio’s time to make his body match his mental image.

    Alskander… Tadzio whispered softly.

Steve glanced towards Alex and smiled. Hey, Alex. He parted from Tadzio’s embrace and checked his phone. Okay. I’ll be down the street helping Mom. I’ll let you know what we decide to do for dinner.

Okay. Alex shrugged. He sipped his coffee, thinking of Billy, his husband, missing him.

Steve touched Alex’s hair gently as he walked by him.

Alex watched Steve leave, picking up his jacket, and closing the door behind him. Steve owned a home nearby this one, one which he gave to his mother and sister, when his dad, Dick Miller, shot himself, committing suicide recently.

Tadzio stood next to his open suitcase, putting a black sweater on over his bra, and then skinny jeans, pink. When Tadzio paused to inspect his fingers, Alex drew closer.

    What’s up? he asked.

I break a nail when I help Susan pack yesterday.

Alex noticed the pink nail polish and Tadzio’s wedding set, which was a ladies set with an emerald cut diamond solitaire.

Alex set his empty coffee mug aside and drew Tadzio into his arms. The amount he adored Tadzio was immeasurable. He didn’t mind one bit that Tadzio wanted breasts. Alex thought they’d be fun to play with.

Alec? Tadzio batted his long lashes. I make breakfast?

Up to you. I don’t mind toast or cereal.

Have you talk to Billy? Tadzio caressed Alex’s hip and moved by him, walking through the open-planned Bel Air home to the kitchen.

Alex picked up his mug and followed. Not yet today. He refilled his coffee mug as Tadzio inspected the food in the fridge.

When does he come back from Paradise? Tadzio removed the egg carton and butter.

I thought he was coming home today. He’s working tomorrow. Alex stood near the back sliding doors, gazing out at the view of the Getty Museum, beyond their pool, which was covered for the winter.

When Tadzio went quiet, Alex stared at him. What?

You should call him, Alec. Tadzio gave him a chiding look as he took a frying pan out to cook an egg.

Alex sighed and went back to gazing at the view, on this chilly February day in Los Angeles.

    ~

Mark Antonious Richfield stood in the driveway of his mansion home in Paradise, California. The cold night was still gripped to the base of the Sierra Mountains, and clouds covered the light blue sky.

Mark held his new son, Isaac Milton Richfield, or ‘Zak’ in his arms, rocking him gently as Joe Scarbino, a police officer who worked with Mark’s son-in-law, Lieutenant Billy Sharpe, straddled Mark’s superbike.

Joe, a stunning young man who was taking over the modeling for Mark’s trademark cologne line, Dangereux, had come with the SWAT lieutenant for the weekend to see if he was interested in buying Mark’s Ducati Panigale.

Wearing a black enamel helmet and leather jacket, Joe started the bike and revved it.

Mark instinctively covered Zak’s ear, and held him close to his chest.

Billy Sharpe, hands on hips, observed, since he had driven the young stud up in his Corvette from Los Angeles last Friday evening.

Joe said to Mark over the motor’s rumble, Where can I test drive it?

    Mark walked closer. Anywhere.

I don’t know this area. Joe kept one foot on the tarmac. Can’t you come with me?

Mark checked on his son, who was surprisingly calm in the racket.

Joe implored, Come on. You can escape for five minutes!

Mark held Zak up to Billy. Do you mind?

Billy stepped back and then appeared to make a decision quickly. He took his godson, Zak, into his arms. Don’t be long. I don’t do diapers, Richfield.

Laughing at the lieutenant, Mark picked up a second helmet and removed leather gloves from his leather jacket pockets. He zipped his jacket to the top, folded up the collar and climbed behind Joe on the leather seat.

Mark spotted Joe giving Billy a wicked smirk, since the big lieutenant was left holding the…baby.

Mark rested his shoes on the pedals and held onto Joe’s waist. All right, love. No daredevil stunts, understand?

Yup. Joe rode around the deep potholes in the rutty lane leading up to the mansion. Once he’d cleared the uneven surface, he emerged from the high hedges surrounding the property and rode off.

Mark kept an eye on not only where they were headed, but the speed.

Where to? Joe asked over his shoulder.

Just take this road to Skyway, love.

    You got it.

    ~

The roar of the Ducati faded into the distance.

Billy stood in the driveway, staring out at the gap in the hedges where they had vanished. He looked at Zak.

    Zak was looking at him.

Now what? he asked the newborn.

Inside his puffy onesie, Zak began to pedal his legs and curl his fingers.

Billy felt him gearing up for a scream. Uh-uh. No way, kid. Let’s take a walk. He held Zak in one arm, facing him outwards from his body and headed down a service road which ran alongside the mansion.

On the way to the back of the property, Billy paused at the gnarled fruit and nut trees. The citrus trees were loaded with ripe fruit, most of which had dropped to the ground for the deer.

Billy adjusted Zak in his arms and stood under the sagging boughs. Look at this, Zak. Billy tugged an orange from a branch. He sniffed it, smelling the zest. He held it near Zak and Zak tried to gum it, using his mouth to inspect it.

Yeah. Maybe not. Billy dropped the fruit and wiped Zak’s mouth with his shirt. Let’s keep going. He carried the little man to the back of the house.

Three horses were grazing in the paddock; Mark’s white Arabian stallion, Piccadilly’s Phantom, Jack Larsen’s black thoroughbred, Shadow of the Knight, and Stan’s brown Percheron mix, Bollward’s Tempest, or ‘Bull.’

Billy stood near the fence rail as the horses munched on hay which their groom, Larry McLeary, had spread out for them.

Piccadilly became alert and walked over to the fence.

Zak made a loud noise of excitement at the big white horse’s approach.

Billy held Zak higher, checking out his reaction to the animals. It tickled Billy that Zak appeared to like it.

Hey! That’s Daddy’s horse, Zak. He takes you riding, doesn’t he?

The white horse flapped his lips at Zak and snorted.

Zak’s little legs went into motion as he peddled and squealed.

Billy heard a laugh and spotted Larry mucking the stalls inside the stable. Going for a ride, Lieutenant?

Not me. Billy rocked Zak side to side.

Piccadilly tried to nibble Zak’s puffy outfit.

Stop. Billy turned away from the nipping.

Larry approached, carrying apples against his chest. Why don’t we feed him?

Billy held Zak up higher, asking him in a silly voice, You want to feed the big horsy?

Larry made a choking noise and appeared surprised at Billy’s silliness.

Billy shot him a snarky grin, since, well, it wasn’t Billy’s style to be soft or ‘motherly’.

Larry held an apple for the horse.

Piccadilly went right for it, biting it as it sat in Larry’s palm.

The other two horses realized treats were coming. They approached the fence.

As Larry held apples for the other two, Piccadilly became possessive, snapping at them.

    Billy stepped back, shielding Zak.

Yo! Horse, Larry scolded Piccadilly, Let the others have one. He reached towards Shadow.

Shadow took the apple from Larry’s hand and walked off to eat it. When Bull stretched for his treat, Piccadilly postured, rearing up and blowing a loud snort.

Nope. No. Billy didn’t want to be any part of a horse fight. He’d seen Piccadilly do this before, and it wasn’t fun.

He carried Zak to the back of the house, near the pool, basketball court, and tennis courts.

When he heard Larry raise his voice, yelling at the horses, Billy spun around.

Bull and Piccadilly were sparring, rearing up and biting each other.

Shit. Billy had his hands full at the moment with a baby. Shit! he yelled when Larry attempted to break up the battle.

Sierra! Billy called for their cook. Warren! He rushed to the back door, and as he went to open it, Sierra was there in her white apron.

What’s happening? she asked, looking afraid.

Take Zak. Billy handed her the baby, and Zak went into a screaming fit when he did.

Billy sprinted to the paddock and leapt over the wooden rail. He grabbed Larry from behind and dragged him backwards to the gate. Are you insane? he yelled at the groom.

Larry caught his breath as the two of them climbed the fence to get the hell out of the paddock. Bull stomped and postured, as Piccadilly reared up, flailing out his front hooves.

Fuck! Larry made a move to get into the paddock again.

Billy grabbed his shirt and held on. No!

The two of them stayed put as the horses battled for dominance.

    ~

Mark relaxed on the leather seat of the Ducati as Joe showed him how confident he was riding a motorcycle.

Joe cruised over the winding, curving roads and explored the mountainsides. Mark held Joe’s waist, and leaned against his back so he could talk to him. There’s a turn off coming soon. On your right.

Joe nodded. He slowed the bike down and waited for a car to clear, then pulled into a wide shoulder, which was large enough for cars to make a U-turn.

Joe put his foot on the dirt and flipped the face shield of the helmet up. This bike is awesome.

Mark smiled at him. I take it you want it?

Boy, do I. Joe quieted the engine.

At Joe shutting the motor off, Mark became curious and set his feet on the
