About this ebook

College sophomore Matt is driving home for the Christmas holidays. So far it has been a pretty rough year for him. Stella, the girl he liked, completely blew him off when she found out that he comes from a poor, hard-working family. As the only daughter of very wealthy parents, Stella was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Dating anyone below her standing was out of the question. Another dream shattered.

Outside, a blizzard is making the roads very slippery. But Matt isn’t worried. His old pickup truck can handle a little snow! Suddenly he notices a car that has slipped off the road. Matt pulls over to help out the driver, who is still locked inside. When the car window opens, he looks into Stella’s beautiful but scared eyes.

All of a sudden, a giant Jeep appears out of nowhere. Two rugged hunters named Clyde and Bull step out of the vehicle and offer their help. But they expect a reward. Matt notices the way the men look at the gorgeous Stella and knows exactly what they have in mind! He tries to fight them off, but he is no match for the two brutes. The last thing he hears before they knock him out is Stella screaming when the men pick her up.

When Matt wakes up again, he is tied to a chair next to Stella. Their abductors have taken them to a cabin deep in the woods. There they have prepared a large meal, including all the moonshine they can drink! When they are done eating, the hunters are ready for their dessert. And that dessert is shivering in her chair. Matt knows that he has to break free to save Stella from those savages. Not only her dignity, but also their lives depend on it! Stella tries to buy him some time by distracting the hunters, but the way she does this almost makes him forget to untie his chains...

Will Matt free himself and save the girl that has been so mean to him in the past? Will Stella be able to buy him enough time by teasing the hunters? Will Matt and Stella leave the cabin alive? Will Clyde and Bull let them go without a fight? Find out in “Bound By The Blizzard: The Hunters’ Cabin”.

“The Hunters’ Cabin” is the prologue to the “Bound By The Blizzard”-trilogy, including the stories “A Safe Haven”, “Love At Last” and “Life After Death”. This trilogy is available in one convenient bundle.

I was driving home from college for Christmas break. My sophomore year had been, so far, pretty boring. I had broken up with my girlfriend from freshman year shortly after summer break had begun, because I caught her cheating with her old high-school flame. I worked hard all summer, trying to save up enough money to pay some of my tuition and costs for my sophomore year, so I had pretty much had no life over the summer. When I had gotten back to campus at the end of August, I applied myself very hard to my studies, and really didn't socialize much. I made no time in my schedule to pursue a campus romance, partially because I had been hurt so deeply by my experience the previous year. I had really only tried to approach one girl, a sophomore who came from the city only a few miles from my home town. She had pledged the snooty rich girl's sorority. Stella was polite enough to me at first, until she found out that I had worked as a mechanic at a small garage in my home town for a year between high school and college to save enough money to go to college. She learned that I was the only son of a dirt-poor family, while her mother was chief of neurosurgery at a well-known research hospital and her father was senior partner in a powerful corporate law practice. Both parents came from old money, so Stella had been raised in the lap of luxury. Basically, she was a spoiled brat who never had, and probably never
