Stamp of Approval

Not many people get excited about going to the post office. Some positively dread it. Not me. When I pulled my Honda into a space by the door of the red brick building, I was absolutely giddy.

My love affair with the post office started way back in third grade, when I got my first pen pals. I was stuck in bed after one of my many childhood surgeries, but my letters flew around the world like angels.
