The CELPIP Test is available in two versions: 

1. CELPIP-General Test: 

Test for Permanent Residence Permit & Non-IRCC Purposes

4 components - Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking (3 hours)

2. CELPIP-General LS Test: 

Test only for Canadian Citizenship

2 components - Listening and Speaking (1 hour 10 min)

Test Result & Validity

Result publishing: 8 business days after the test (in Express Rating the results will be available within three business days)

Report validity: 2 years
