Roberto Scarlato is an author, blogger and audiobook narrator. He writes speculative fiction, mystery, suspense, thriller, romance, horror and crime. Ye Olde Idea Shoppe

ALL BUT ONE IDEA HAD been sold. It sat contained in a dirt-speckled golden tin, high on top the dusty fifth shelf of the Olde Idea Shoppe.

Behind the counter stood a tattooed girl in her early twenties. She had narrow, pouty lips and plump, dimpled cheeks. Her short, black hair was pulled back into a ponytail, leaving bangs to cover her face. Her name was Sunshine Raven.  Her parents had wanted their daughter to be sugar and spice and everything nice, so they decided on the brightest first name they could think of to counter-balance her last name.
