About this ebook
The fictional story revolves around the protagonists of the story, Ramen Barua, underworld Don of Guwahati (Dispur), State capital of Assam and Vishakha, a poor girl whose father abandoned her mother after birth of her younger sister, who had been vulnerable from everyone for all types of exploitation.
I borrowed the character of Konlora from a real character who was appointed by the proprietor of Prag Jyoti Cinema, Maligaon, Guwahati in early eighties to control Q. I saw this giant when I was a student of Cotton College. After few months we heard that he was beaten up by a Taekwondo player , half of the size of the giant, who later on became a senior police officer of Assam Police. We again heard, later on, the giant was appointed as a constable by the same police officer when he became the SP of the district from where giant came from.

Preface
This fictitious story originates from an argument with my friend Shri Ajay Gupta, a very serious officer from our service on psychological effect on our sexual behaviour. His point of argument was, if an old person marries a very young girl, that particular person may look his own daughter in the same lens through which he looks at his young wife. In my argument, I told him, even a regular visitor to the brothels has different perspectives for different girls. In his brain, reactions are processed differently for his sister, his daughters, mothers, wife of his friends, their children etc. with the ladies with him sexual relations exist. When he was not convinced, I asked him a pertinent question on his own arguments, ‘A person’s wife has the same age with his own sister, wives of his friends, does it mean, that he will have the same feeling for all the ladies? Definitely ‘not’. Therefore, his arguments ‘if an old person marries a very young girl, that particular person may look his own daughter in the same lens through which he looks at his young wife’ does not hold good.’
He did not agree with me, but I got a plot to write a story on that.

I am thankful to Deepika, my spiritual daughter for giving her photograph for the book.
Thanks to my readers and friends and above all my family members for their constant support to write something usual and unusual. I love them all.

Chapter I: Happy Go Around
Ramen Barua was born to a rich farmer’s family few decades ago, as a pampered boy. He was born after two brothers and a sister. There was a huge gap between him and his sister and his elder brothers. His elder brother, Jayanta was eighteen years older than him. The middle brother, Rubul was sixteen year older than him and even his sister, Pallavi was twelve year older than him. None thought an unwanted pregnancy would hit Pranita after Pallavi’s birth even though she did not take any precaution because she did not conceive for more than eleven years after birth of Pallavi. When Pranita, became pregnant, initially she thought she attained menopause. Only after three months, when baby bump was becoming visible, Ramen’s father Arup Barua took his wife to a lady doctor who confirmed that Pranita was pregnant. Though initially, the couple was perplexed at the news of the pregnancy, both of them welcomed the news as a boon of the Almighty. His parents, finally, became very happy at his birth.
Therefore, he got all the attentions from his parents and the siblings as a new comer to the family. His mother took care of her youngest child as much as possible. In fact, she used to take care of Ramen more than what she had cared for his elder siblings few years ago. He was probably few of the luckiest children of rural India, who got all types of dolls and playing tools a child can have asked for.
When Ramen went to class IV, the elder brother became a doctor and his middle brother was an engineer. His sister was doing her masters. Money flowing was not a problem for Ramen so as love flowing from all the elders of the family. Because of enhanced social and money power of the Barua family, Ramen became the undisputed uncrowned prince of the locality. Therefore, Ramen acquired all the vices as a spoilt child of a rich person can have. But to his credit, he was extraordinarily brilliant in his studies as well.
As he grew, his knowledge on the subjects he used to study, expanded exponentially to the delight of his parents, brothers, sister and teachers. He was not only good in his studies but also equally good in extra-curricular activities. Ramen had an extra-ordinary photographic memory to the surprise of all his peers and teachers.
Just before, annual examination of ninth standard, Ramen was suffering from viral fever. All, advised him to drop
