Wybieram błądzenie w krainie Ducha. Może Króla Ducha, może zwykłego ducha. W krainie myśli wyższych niż Wieża Eiffla. W krainie odczuć innych, bo przewróconych na drugą stronę jak zdjęty sweter. A materializm? Jest ważny, gdy muszę opłacić rachunek za mieszkanie.
Poranna kawa
Wszystko zaczyna się od podróży. Droga powiek w górę po przebudzeniu. Stopa szukająca kapcia. Ruch ręki wyłączający nienawistny budzik. A może inna kolejność. Trudno powiedzieć, gdy umysł śpi, choć ciało już parzy kawę… Zna tę czynność na pamięć, tak samo jak drogę do łazienki, dźwięk płynącej wody i ból odchodzącego snu. Wszystko zaczyna się od podróży, nawet gdy się o tym nie wie.

Nie lubiła rozmów o życiu. Nie znosiła planować przyszłości. W pewnym sensie żyła z dnia na dzień. Ale tylko w pewnym sensie. Bo to jej z dnia na dzień było jednym dniem. Gdy wstawała rano wiedziała już, że umyje zęby. Gdy kładła się spać wiedziała, że następnego dnia znowu wstanie. To jej wystarczało. Przynajmniej tak twierdziła. Tylko czasami, wieczorem, kiedy zmywała makijaż, żałowała, że nie może zmyć też swojej twarzy.

Obudził ją nagły dźwięk budzika. Zapomniała go wyłączyć, gdy kładła się spać. A w tej chwili już było za późno. Wiedziała, że więcej nie zaśnie. Trochę nieprzytomna usiadła na łóżku. Bose stopy szukały klapek na podłodze. W jednym z nich spał skulony diabełek. Odłożył aureolę obok. Zwinął się jak kot. Ogon podłożył pod głowę i tak przespał całą noc. Zdecydowanie spokojniej niż tę, w czasie której stróżował.
