Productive Stoner - Your practical guide to getting shit done - Stoney Steve
Dedicated to all those who broke the chains of limitation and produce more than they consume.
by Stoney Steve
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?
-Marianne Williamson
Hello fellow Stoner!
Ithink it’s safe to assume that you must be a Stoner at some level since you are reading this book. As an author as well as Cannathusiast, I would like to welcome you on this journey to improve your life.
Regardless of how you got a hold of this manual, my promise to you is that I have done my best to gather, test, select, simplify and present the most useful practices. Ones, which have worked for me and many others over the years. All of that in an easy-to-read manner.
So, without further ado, let’s begin!
First things first - what's the purpose of this guide?
I have written this guide to help medical and recreational users achieve their goals and live a more fulfilling life by improving their productivity and efficiency. And all of that while enjoying extreme quantities of cannabis.
What's the whole point of being Productive?
Productivity by definition is a way of measuring the efficiency of a person in converting inputs into outputs.
In simpler terms, it’s a way to convert your thoughts and tasks into proper actions, which lead to solutions in the right amount of time.
Then what differentiates a Productive Stoner from an unproductive Stoner?
The capability to get shit done, a.k.a., the accomplishment of whatever you set out to do in the most efficient manner.
Ok, but what are the actual benefits of being Productive?
That’s a great question. Above all, your life will become easier. Admittedly, that’s a pretty bold statement, but let me explain.
You will accomplish more things in less time, therefore leaving you more time to do other things you desire.
Whether it’s something big like learning a new skill, writing a book, working on your business, or spending additional time with people you care about. Or something more frivolous such as sleeping until noon or watching Netflix. You will be able to do these things because you will gain a better grasp of how to manage your time and priorities accurately.
Over time, you will develop a better understanding of yourself. What motivates you, and what turns you off. You will improve at decision-making and problem solving, which will give you more clarity, focus and control over your life. All of that will make you feel more positive, fulfilled, and happy because you will know you are on track and heading in the right direction. This new confidence in self, will boost your self-esteem and push you forward to achieve your goals and dreams. And, if you truly commit to becoming productive, the things that once seemed impossible will soon become a reality.
As you can see, productivity benefits your life through different channels, and in the end, it will affect all aspects of your life. It will make you grow, improve, and advance as a person. Damn good for a single skill, isn’t it?
Sounds great, but I’ve got some questions. How exactly do you know all of that? And what do you base it on?
Let me tell you a short story about how it all started.
Over a decade ago, I've messed up my back really badly. I’ve sustained a major spinal injury that put me in bed and kept it there 24/7. As a result, I’ve received a rather questionable drug cocktail including non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, muscle relaxants, anti-depressants, and painkillers such as morphine. While quite a few insured people would be delighted to have unplanned, extra-long, paid holidays
, along with an impressive drug supply, I wasn’t very thrilled, as it posed few problems.
The biggest one of course, was the pain. Persistent and almost paralyzing, it prevented me from any sort of movement. Even though I can laugh at it now, back then it felt like an agony. Frankly, the meds didn’t help much, and as a side-effect of the mix, it was almost impossible to function on a daily basis, let alone get anything done. I was a complete zombie and I knew I had a serious problem since I couldn’t even articulate my thoughts.
During my next appointment, a doctor suggested that I start taking selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Let’s get one thing straight - I’m not an expert, but I always thought modern medicine should be more about treating the cause, not the symptoms. Hence, taking more drugs, to combat the side effects of the drugs I was already taking, somehow didn’t seem like a very good idea.
Luckily after consulting several different doctors, I came across one who offered me an alternative treatment - medical marijuana.
I must admit; I was a bit skeptical at first, even though my adventure with the boom began when I was around 12 years old. By the age of 16, I’ve noticed an
