CUTTING-EDGECANNABINOID DEVELOPMENT
Cannabis isn’t much of a mystery to the general public these days. People across the world now understand, or are at least familiar with, the effects and benefits of cannabis products that include THC or CBD (although let’s be honest, education will always be necessary for those who aren’t in-the-know). The scientific community will continue to research and discover new information about new cannabinoids and how they affect the human body—but suffice it to say, the topic of major cannabinoids has become a part of the mainstream—and there’s no turning back now.
However, we stand at the precipice of history when it comes to cannabinoids. The cannabis industry is usually categorized into products that contain one of the two most popular cannabinoids—THC and CBD. But we are far from limited to just those two cannabinoids alone.
To date, there are well over 100 different cannabinoids that have been discovered. Now, companies are looking at new ways to recreate these lesser-known cannabinoids that aren’t found in abundance in nature. These cannabinoids are being discovered, studied and for some, even mass produced through interesting processes. What’s even more fascinating, is that some of these cannabinoids have the potential to be better, more potent or more effective in treating certain medical conditions.
