The Cheeky Little Monkeys (1)

One very hot summer’s day. An old lady sat in her car with all the windows rolled down, eating a big bag of monkey nuts. Un-be-knowing to her, she was being observed very closely by ‘The cheeky little monkeys’.

It wasn’t long before the cheeky little monkeys decided to make their move. It was something they had done many times before, they all knew the routine. All the cheeky little monkeys, except one, went around to the other side of the car, and then the show began.

One cheeky little monkey started jumping up and down. Another started doing somersaults. One cheeky little monkey was picking his nose, and another was bending over and showing his bum. All the cheeky little monkeys were screaming and shouting.

The old lady sat with her mouth wide opened watching the spectacle. When she reached down for another monkey nut, she couldn’t find any.

The old lady looked down between her legs on the car seat for the big bag of monkey nuts, but it was not there. She looked on the floor in the car and the big bag of monkey nuts was not there either. The old lady looked all around, and still there were no nuts to be seen anywhere. Where could it have gone?

It wasn’t long before the old lady discovered what had happened to her big bag of monkey nuts.

One of the cheeky little monkeys who wasn’t preforming, was now on the top of the old lady’s car eating them. He had taken them whilst the old lady was watching the spectacle. The other cheeky little monkeys stopped performing, climbed on top of the car and also started eating the old lady’s monkey nuts.

They ate and crunched until the nuts were all gone. Then the cheeky little monkeys climbed down from the top of the car, leaving the shells from the monkey nuts. The cheeky
