In a multidimensional world humans knew of other dimensions and explored them often. These dimensions range in size and all have special portal openings for humans to use. In one of these dimensions, named Archeon SD, a princess was born. Her name was Starmist for she was the sun that would guide her people to the light. Archeonites happen to all be supernatural beings whether they are spirits, ghosts, lycans, shifters, chimera, angels or witches, they are all members of Archeon. Starmist and her twin sister are both witches, Aviyahnna the older of the twins was born with the red hair as dark as the blood moon on the night that they were born. In lineage before the birth of these twin witches, a prophecy was recorded. The prophecy spoke of an evil facing Archeon that a chosen one would face. Starmist was born as the chosen one and her sister born of the moon curse. Starmist was born of the sun and could harness the energy of it and the light. Unlike other witches she had special powers being born as the chosen one. She could open portals between dimensions and feel the emotions and thoughts of those around her... Her only power that has exceeded all other chosen ones is the power to time travel. Starmist was born a twin which meant that her sister Aviyahnna was born with the moon curse making her powers those that controlled the night and the moon. Both princesses were beautiful and both would become highly intelligent though only the chosen one was allowed to rule and the one with the moon curse was unable to use their powers without the chosen one. As the young witches grew and learned more about their powers, another dark evil grew. This evil had not been seen since Queen Isadora ended the wars between the races. A vampire named Dylan lurked in an opal cave creating followers. These followers were people that he turned out of jealousy and rage, for he loved Isadora and she was the woman who locked him in the cave. His jealousy was for his best friend Demetrius. Demetrius was changed by Isadora and Dylan was imprisoned inside of the cave. After years he was let out only to find the woman he loved was married and Demetrius, he was playing the part perfectly. Returning to Earth he found the child of Isadora and with a malicious grin he left to bring an ally back and start the true war. Dylan stayed at a college while Demetrius returned to the daughter of Isadora to play her boyfriend using his magic to manipulate the memories of the whole town. Dylan’s ally bounced between Archeon and Earth because she was using a person as bait to lure Starmist back to Archeon but she didn’t like being away from Dylan for too long. The journey Starmist will go through is not for the faint hearted, for her life will overflow with pain and suffering. She is now 18 and in her last year of high school. She has only just found out that she is pregnant and she got a message from her mother and father from Archeon. The war has begun. The eclipse would only be the first in a series of battles that this Princess would be prepping for...

Chapter One

Opening the door to his college dorm Demetrius groans seeing the man inside. Why are you here, Dylan? He asks tossing his bag on the bed and looking at his former friend.

Good to know you remember your best friend, Dylan mutters sarcastically at Demetrius. I applied to become your roommate even though you will be leaving soon. Isadora’s daughter will soon need you. Dylan informs Demetrius stoically.

You expect me to pick everything up and leave? Demetrius asks Dylan.

No, I have a friend who will be here soon. He will take your place. You need to go and bend the minds of a whole town so get some sleep. Dylan says and Demetrius rolls his eyes and flips him the bird.

Bugger off you psycho dick-wad. Demetrius mutters and walks to the fridge. He grabs a can of Bud Light and turns on the flat screen on the wall trying his best to ignore Dylan’s presence.

I missed you too Demetrius. Dylan smiles flashing his fangs and Demetrius sighs knowing that even with magic he can’t beat Dylan.

Yeah, I get it you’re a vampire still. Demetrius frowns wishing that Dylan would just leave.

Yeah, because your precious Allison died so Isadora took pity on you and gave you her magic while locking me in a damned opal cave, Dylan growls out and Demetrius gulps at hearing his wife’s name.

Whose fault is it Allison became a vampire in the first place? Demetrius stares hard at Dylan who smirks.

Jealous I bit her first Deme? Dylan chuckles and Demetrius growls, snapping his fingers, and light his fist on fire.

Wanna burn? Demetrius threatens vengeful fire in his eyes.

You’re so boring now. It’s like you’re domesticated. Dylan sighs as there’s a knock on the door. Come on in Fredrick.

Seriously? Demetrius groans glaring at Dylan as Fredrick’s tall frame walks in the room, taking up the entire doorway with his body.

Hey Dylan. Why are we meeting here? Fredrick says nodding his head at Dylan.

Tell Demetrius everything about your family. Dylan says to Fredrick.

Why? Fredrick asks.

He needs this information to get close to our princess. Dylan says, making Demetrius frown and shake his head.

Leave the princess alone. Demetrius grumbles.

I can’t. See she knows where my beauty is and I must find her and make her suffer. Dylan grins besides you’ll just be keeping tabs on her.

What’s her name? Fredrick asks.

Starmist. Demetrius answers.

What a beautiful name Isadora chose for her daughter. Dylan grins maliciously.

All I’m doing is watching her right? Demetrius asks.

Yes Demetrius, now Fredrick please tell Demetrius about your family so he can become your brother. Dylan says turning to Fredrick who nods and sits down on the bed.

*2 hours later*

That’s all you should need to know. Oh and you’ll be attending Rampart High School. Fredrick says.

There now you’re all set. Dylan grins.

You’re serious about me going to Colorado? Dylan, I’m living in LA because this is where Allison was killed. I’m trying to figure out who murdered her.

Go to Colorado, I’ll stay here and investigate. Dylan sighs knowing who Allison’s killer was already, and doing what he could in order for his plan to work, he needs Demetrius on board.

Alright, fine. I’ll leave in the morning. Demetrius groans.

Great. Dylan grins and Fredrick grunts rolling his eyes.

Let’s go get signed up for classes. Fredrick says and Dylan nods and they both leave the room. Demetrius sighs at the peaceful silence and starts to think about Starmist. He hasn’t seen her since bringing her to Earth. He hopes she ended up in a good home and that she would remember him before he changed her memories. Demetrius falls asleep on the couch still thinking about Starmist.

The next morning as Demetrius was packing his bag Fredrick walked in with a huge grin on his face. Hey when you change their minds do you think you could change Sunburst’s mind to make her obsessed with me? Fredrick asks Demetrius who glares at him.

Are you serious? Demetrius asks.

Well, maybe. Fredrick mumbles and Demetrius looks at Dylan who shrugs.

Fine. Yeah, whatever, I’ll make her obsessed, is that it? Demetrius asks slinging his duffle over his shoulder.

Nope that’s all. Their minds should be easy enough to manipulate. Fredrick shrugs.

Yeah so now I get to use the rest of my magic on a freaking town of humans. Demetrius grunts and opens the door.

If it means anything, Starmist is a great girl. Fredrick yells after Demetrius as Dylan shuts the door to the dorm room. Using a ticket Dylan had provided, Demetrius lands in Colorado and heads for his new home. He begins changing the memories of the parents, the Fletchers, then moves on to do the same to everyone in town. The last door he knocks on is Starmist’s family home and a teenager answers his knock.

Hello, can I help you? The girl asks.

What’s your name? Demetrius asks.

Sakura Kelly. The girl answers with a smile and bats her eyes.

My name is Demetrius Nardone. Could I come in and speak to your family? Demetrius asks and the girl nods opening the door.

Sak who was at the door? A male voice calls from inside.

A man that would like to speak to all of us. She answers walking in. Are all humans this naive and dumb? Demetrius asks himself.

Who are you? A man asks crossing his arms and staring at Demetrius. Two more women join the man and Demetrius looks at them and begins to manipulate their thoughts.

Chapter Two

I enter my room and kick off my shoes, sighing as a tear slips down my face. Inhaling the scent of my boyfriend, I wrap his varsity jacket tighter around me. Surveying my room, my comfy bed was calling my name, but instead I walk over and turn on the radio then walk to the big bay window and take a seat. Looking out the window as the first lines to the song ‘Havana’ by Camila Cabello wash over me I suck in a breath trying to hold back the sob threatening to come out.

Such a big mistake, how could this happen? I was sure he used a rubber but obviously I was wrong. Oh my god. I have to tell him soon I've been keeping it a secret for so long. Now I find out I have to go back to Archeon to save it.

Hugging my knees to my chest I let the song wash over me and sing softly, Oo love no one’s ever gonna hurt you love I’m gonna give you all of my love. Stopping when my phone dings with a text notification and I look down as my eyes widen reading the text ‘I’ll be there in 20 love.’ I quickly scramble to make my bed and grab my backpack opening it up and dumping my things out on my bed, trying to make it look like I have been at home studying. I run into my ensuite and throw some water on my face to make my eyes less puffy. Looking in the mirror I stare at my reflection the unnatural blonde hair and hazel contacts covering my violet irises, the softness to my features the humans would find attractive. I look to the heavens and wonder why the goddess has gifted me with such beauty. My heart shaped face soft and feminine with small lips and a perfect smile.

Damn Demetrius for letting me forget we had a date - wait we don’t have a date… Did I invite him to dinner again?

Yelping as my foot tangles in a shirt hanging from my hamper, I fall, catching myself with a puff of magic. Sighing and using my magic to slowly boost myself up, I hear a knock on my door. Is he already here? I ask myself as I turn down the music and walk over to the door. I open it to see Demetrius standing there in his usual band tee and blue jeans. I smile and reach up, pulling his beanie off so I can run my hands through his black curls.

Hello, my beautiful Starmist. Demetrius sighs, his vibrant green eyes twinkling. He leans down kissing my cheek softly before entering my room. I sigh as his scent wafts over me again.

Hi. I giggled, closing the door and returning to my bay window as he sat on my bed.

How's Sakura? He asks with a knowing grin that makes my heart melt and I grin back.

She's doing well whatever it is that she does. You know her. I answer, making him laugh.

True and how are you? He asks gazing at me intently. Oh no does he know I’m pregnant?! No that’s impossible.I should only be 5 or 6 months but I’ve been wearing baggy clothes so I shouldn’t look pregnant.

I- I'm fine. I say stuttering slightly as his gaze becomes intense.

Good. That's really good. He grins and I mentally sigh in relief. I really need to tell him. Maybe tonight. But how?

You're so inspiring Demetrius. I write a lot of my poetry about you, your words and everything. I smile and blush slightly.

That's right. I totally forgot you write poetry. Demetrius laughs and kisses my forehead. I thought it was only novels and stuff.

You know it's my getaway. I can be myself in my poetry. I smile and get off my bay window, sitting next to Demetrius on my bed.

Would you recite one for me now? He asks and I smile shaking my head no.

Not now. I say leaning in to kiss his forehead as he grabs my face and pulls my lips to his. The kiss ended when my sister Sakura walked in and with her the scent of takeout Chinese wafts into my room.

Oh, uh, hi, Demetrius, Sakura begins. I thought Starmist was alone, she adds while blushing. Dinner’s ready downstairs whenever you are,Sakura adds before exiting my room and closing the door.

Okay let's go down before my parents start asking questions. I say breathlessly.

What if I don't want to leave? He asks while kissing hungrily down my neck, making me moan softly.

Let's go. I don't want Sakura opening up her big mouth and neither do you. I say grabbing his arm and dragging him out.
