Introduction

Soon after learning Quantum-Touch Level 1, I walked into my favorite mom and pop bookstore. The resident cat made a beeline towards me. Before I even had a chance to glance at the titles on the shelves, the cat rubbed her hind legs against my calves and indicated that I follow her. I felt claimed and did as she instructed.

I followed her to the back of the store to an antique armchair that was covered in cat hair. The area smelled like must. Books lay haphazardly on the shelves as if they were about to collapse into heaps on the floor. I sat down in the chair as indicated. Immediately the cat jumped into my lap and made herself comfortable. Aha, you want Quantum-Touch, I cooed. I sandwiched my hands between her belly and back and she began to purr.

Animals, as many of you know, love Quantum-Touch and will actively seek it out. Since I’ve acquainted myself with this modality, dogs often strain on their leashes as I pass. I smile apologetically at the owners as they struggle to stay grounded and quiet down their canine friends. Rabbits come closer to me in the field than they have in the past, as do birds. It’s like this entire magical realm of animals has opened up.

Richard Gordon, Found of Quantum-Touch writes about his experience with a baby bunny rabbit in his book, Quantum-Touch: The Power to Heal. A friend had visited with her rabbit, which had gotten loose and was leaving pellets all over the house. Richard hunted for the rabbit and finally found it quivering in fear. He decided to send Quantum-Touch to the little creature to calm its nerves.

This is what he writes, After about a minute or two of running the energy, I could feel the trembling stop and its little muscles relaxing beneath my hands. Out of curiosity, I kept running the energy. After another couple of minutes, the rabbit did something totally unexpected: it stretched its front paws forward as far as it could and its back paws back as far as it could and lay there totally relaxed… This bunny looked as if it were having a pleasant day at the beach, all stretched out and drinking in sunlight.

Indeed, this is the magic of Quantum-Touch!

I’m very excited about this collection because it features many stories like the one above about the healing power of Quantum-Touch on animals.

Many hours were spent combing through ten-years-worth of Quantum-Touch newsletters, message boards and the website. As editor, I took the liberty to place most stories in past tense. Words are so important in manifesting the realities we create for ourselves that I found it important to keep the past in the past, especially regarding dis-ease, even with stories that were submitted in present tense.

I hope you find these stories as inspiring as I have and look forward towards many more to come.

Celebrating the Life of Boo

At the beginning of May of this year, I was given Boo – a 19-year old cat – to take care of for a month. One could tell that she was elderly and had a number of health problems. As soon as she arrived, I started giving her Quantum-Touch. At the beginning, she shied away from it but after one week, she decided that she was ready for energy treatments. From there on, she demanded daily treatments. Within one month, her health greatly improved. Originally, she had been unable to retract her claws. After a few treatments, her claws retracted and she has been doing normal claw work since. Her left eye was clouded and this cleared up after one treatment. Her lower spine was curved and her hair was scruffy there. With one treatment of tractor beaming [technique taught in Core Transformation] her spine returned to its normal shape and the hair filled out and is very shiny again.

She walks much better now and her muscles have strengthened greatly.

After one month of staying with me, she decided that she had been adopted and did not want to return to her other home. Her owners agreed since I had a big house with many interesting rooms, stairs, an outside deck and space to roam around.

Recently, I was able to switch her to a healthier diet and she has lost weight. Her face looks much younger and she is a very alert, active, and loving cat at the age of 19.
