Driving home one evening in the dark, I turned the car heaters on to full blast.
It was midnight and a chilly -4°c – I couldn’t help but shiver.
Then suddenly, a dark shadow flashed in front of my headlights.
Screeching my foot down on the brakes, I jumped out of the car.
A frightened chocolate brown Lurcher stood in the middle of the road.
