This text will not normally comply with the new or modern translations of the Bible. For consistency, use The Jewish Bible; The Aramaic Targum Bible; and the King James Bible, not the New King James Bible, published during and after 1979. It is critical to acknowledge that today's World Bible institutions and societies, have continued to rescript old bible versions, in order to erase any evidence of an early Negro-African presence. It was during the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 17th Centuries that great efforts were made to de- Africanize the Bible, in order to invent a new European book of symbolisms, ideas and concepts. During and after 1979, new altered versions were printed to finalize the Old Euro- effort to Europeanize the Bible. The modern day Church has overlooked this transformation by neglecting to compare today's new versions with earlier Hebrew-Egypto-Ethiopic texts, and Bible glossaries. Today's Church doesn't have a clue to how much the new versions contradicts the old versions.
500 Questions And Answers On The Black Presence In The Bible was researched from old Bible versions, not the new revised versions.

FOREWORD
500 Questions and Answers on the Black Presence in the Bible addresses issues in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. This book was written so that mankind could become more aware of the
African contribution to the Bible, and to abolish the old myth that Black people contributed nothing to the Scriptures. In reality, Africa had a tremendous impact on the early writings of the Bible, from stories and events themselves to those who wrote about them.
This remarkable text is a compilation of questions and answers, geared toward uplifting the minds and spirits of those who are in search of the truth and Salvation. The questions and answers are centered on issues pertaining to the very dawn and fabric of a Black biblical presence.
There has been a universal trans-mind-formation by people of color in confronting these issues concerning their heritage. Blacks around the globe, especially those residing in Africa and the Americas, have for centuries faced injustices from Euro-Western missionaries, big business, historians, and politicians, in relation to their overwhelming contribution to both the Bible and natural history.
500 Questions and Answers on the Black Presence in the Bible
offers a wealth of biblical and secular information that contradicts many of the myths handed down throughout the centuries about Africa and its people. This book was also assembled to polarize the Bible as one of the oldest documentaries of Black people; reflecting the Scriptures’ equality of representing all of God’s creations, and
not just a few.
I am confident that this book will benefit all who search the word of God by offering a broader understanding of the Black presence in
the Bible. I pray God’s wisdom unto those who read 500 Questions and Answers on the Black Presence in the Bible.
Dr. John L. Johnson
PREFACE
In October 1996, Dr. Johnson was approached by a group of interesting citizens of the Black community led by Dr. James A. Carey, assistant pastor of Christ Southern Mission Baptist
Church, and the Reverend Bailey Williams, president of the Afro- American Men’s Club. Dr. Carey requested that Dr. Johnson visit their symposium which was held annually at Missouri University. He insisted that Dr. Johnson attend as the guest speaker and give
an introduction to his works, on the presence of Blacks in the
Bible and in natural history. Dr. Johnson gladly accepted the
offer. The gathering was held on November 4, 1996 at
the campus’ J.C. Penney Auditorium.
Dr. Johnson, a retired federal employee, received a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Louis University, and a Doctor of
Divinity degree from New World Theological Seminary in Texarkana, Arkansas. He served three years in the Marine Corps
and one tour in Vietnam. One of his specialties while in Vietnam
was speaking the Vietnamese language as a translator. He has
spent over twenty-five years intensively researching and high-
lighting the significance of dark colors, and exposing myths
handed down throughout the centuries by the European clergy regarding Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
Dr. Johnson’s published works are: The Black Biblical Heritage: Four Thousand Years of Black Biblical History, The Hamitic Bible Dictionary and God’s Kinship With Dark Colors. These nonfictional books offer a wealth of innovative knowledge about God and creation with relevance to people, places, and things.
––––––––
Aside from the Old and New Testaments, Dr. Johnson’s remark-able works are the first printed materials of their kind to highlight the lineage of Ham, the father of Africa and sections of Asia, along with other Black affiliations to the Bible.
Dr. Johnson has traveled throughout Europe, and portions of Asia and Africa. He has appeared on radio and television programs throughout the country and has received awards for his outstanding writings.
Following his one hour lecture about Africa’s contribution to the Bible and natural history, Dr. Johnson then readied himself to be challenged by an exciting audience that was definitely thirsty for the truth. Moments before Dr. Johnson was to encounter the bar-rage of questions and comments, Dr. Carey calmly instructed the audience to confront the author and speaker with tough questions, while remaining brief, candid, and to the point.
Dr. Carey, given the honor of leading the section, began by asking Dr. Johnson to present a brief description of his book The Black Biblical Heritage, in consideration of those who were not present at the beginning of the program.
Dr. Johnson: The Black Biblical Heritage is a text that highlights 4000 years of Black biblical history. It is based on the genealogy of man from the creation of Adam, with strong emphasis on the lineage of Noah’s youngest son Ham, who was the genetic father of Africa and parts of Asia. The sons of Ham were Cush,
Mizraim, Phut, and Canaan, whose descendants can be traced chronologically throughout the Bible. This remarkable book reveals such renowned characters as Adam, the great King and architect Nimrod, the Ethiopian Queen of Sheba, the Canaanite Jezebel, King Solomon, the Black wise men and Madonna, Simon of Cyrene, Simon that was called Niger, Simon the Canaanite, the Messiah, and others. The Black Biblical Heritage also reveals many Black priests, prophets, warriors, craftsmen, and teachers, who for centuries discovered and expounded upon many of today’s ideas about the universe, religion, government, medicine, and fine arts.
Dr. Carey: Dr. Johnson, what is the significance of history, and why is it critical to Black people?
Dr. Johnson: History is like a universal clock used by people to calculate how we fit on the universal center stage. You see, we’re all like a blank sheet of paper waiting to be written upon, where- as mankind, especially Black people, by observing the clock of history, must write and teach their own account, if we wish to compete on an international scale. Ever realizing that what we write on that blank sheet of paper is what we will become. We as a chosen people must no longer allow our competitors, who view us as being incompetent, to write and teach that history for us. Either we write our own history or someone else will, and we
may not like what they write. Blacks who have been victimized throughout the globe must understand that a people that seeks knowledge of itself will have to find and nourish that knowledge within itself, and not depend upon others who may discredit it.
Mr. Coolidge: Dr. Johnson, during your introduction you mentioned the Ark uplifting from the continent of Africa to Asia, which you said became man’s second home. You also stressed
that life and the Garden of Eden originated in Africa. My question is where did you obtain your information to substantiate this claim?
Dr. Johnson: Mr. Coolidge, this information is based upon
Genesis 2:11-13, as it describes rivers departing from the Garden of Eden and circling African nations. Hey, let’s face it, the
Garden of Eden was located within the vicinity of those rivers. It should also be acknowledged that the topaz emerald that Ezekiel mentioned as one of the precious stones of Eden was claimed by Job to have existed in Africa within Cush, latterly called Ethiopia or Abyssinia.
Mr. Coolidge: Where in Ezekiel and Job is such information found?
Dr. Johnson: This information is found in Ezekiel 28:13 and Job 28:19.
Bishop Franklin: Dr. Johnson, I’ve always believed that life and Eden began in Asia. What new information do you have to convince me otherwise?
Dr. Johnson: Well, before answering your question I would first like to inform you that this information is not new, but an old affidavit that has been systematically kept from the public. The perception that Eden was located in Asia is modernly appealing, but merely rests upon deception and assumption. If there was an Asian Eden, then why weren’t the oldest human remains and artifacts discovered in Asia, and not in Africa where there exists overwhelming evidence above and below its soil? Is it not so that Adam and Eve left substantial proof of their entity by producing children, who themselves multiplied for many centuries, before the Global Deluge, and during that period, built homes, fashioned tools, weapons, and utensils, raised livestock, yielded crops, and melted metal? Then why is it that traces of this activity within
that period cannot be discovered in Asia, but in Africa? This acknowledgment of Africa being the cradle of mankind is well supported by ancient historical records, and today’s scientists.
Bishop Franklin: That makes a lot of sense. Now could you expound upon the destiny of those Rivers of Eden, especially the Euphrates and Hiddekel, which presently exist in Asia, which
was known then as Northeast Africa.
Dr. Johnson: Well I would like to first emphasize that ancient Asia was originally called Northeast Africa before receiving the name Middle East,
but that’s another subject. However, let me get back to your question. There was a river in Eden that gushed from the soil of Ethiopia and traveled throughout the land to
water the Garden. While flowing northward, it divided into four heads. The first head to depart the gigantic River of Eden was the Pishon which traveled Northwest of Africa. The second head that departed the principal river was the Gihon which later merged with the Pishon. This Grand River circled the whole land of Ethiopia, then jet-streamed north of Africa, afterward spilling
into the Mediterranean Sea. The name of the third head that flowed from the main river was the Hiddekel which is modernly called the Tigris. This swift and wild river, while flowing from Paradise, apparently plunged underground, flowing hundreds of miles before resurfacing in the Fertile Crescent. From there, it flowed southwest, traveling toward the east of Assyria to join the Persian Gulf, which was earlier called the Ethiopian Sea. The name of the fourth river was the Euphrates. This peaceful river’s destination and its departure from the main source of Eden was similar to the Hiddekel’s. What I am addressing here, is that the rivers of Eden originated on the continent of Africa, a fact that is confirmed by ancient writers. I would like to also stress that
many ancient Jewish scholars were not in agreement with today’s belief that the Garden of Eden existed in the Fertile Crescent, or Mesopotamia. The Jewish historian Philo states that the land of Armenia, which is located in Asia, where Eden was said to have existed, was no paradise. He then suggested that Eden was in a remote region, far from his inhabited world, with a river flowing underground, forcing itself through veins in the earth, then emerging in Armenia and elsewhere. The Jewish eleventh-century Bible commentator Rashi, commented that the Gihon River which departed from Eden, was the Nile that flowed through Eastern Africa. The great Jewish historians Flavius Josephus and Yohanan Aharoni agreed by calling the Pishon and Gihon, the
African Nile and Blue Nile.
Here we observe one Jewish scholar denying Eden’s existence in Asia, and the others associating a River of Eden with Africa. 1
Pastor Edwards: Dr. Johnson, you stated that the Middle East was first called Northeast Africa. Well, what facts can you offer to support this claim? When was the phrase Middle East first used?
Dr. Johnson: The answer is very simple if observed from a geo-graphical and domestic observation. You see, in ancient times a portion of what is now called Asia, extending from West China to East Africa was not called the Middle East,
but Northeast Africa
or Ham
by the Negro children of Ham who settled
those regions. Let’s also remember that the entire Eastern coast
of the Mediterranean, before the construction of the Suez Canal, was territorially adjoined to Africa. It was for these reasons that Asia was called Northeast Africa,
before acquiring the name Middle East.
The phrase Middle East was first used by the World War II correspondents.
Mrs. Richardson: Dr. Johnson, Israel was called Northeast Africa?
Dr. Johnson: Sure. Israel was merely an extended territory of Africa and was called Northeast Africa,
just as Hawaii and Alaska are called America
or The United States
even though they have no geographical connection nor any ancient ethnicity with America. However, regardless of this remoteness, we still address the Hawaiians and Alaskans as Caucasians and Americans. Israel was not the only region that was territorially interlocked with Africa. The first inhabitants of the land of
Canaan were merely cousins of the Africans through Canaan, the brother of Ethiopia, Egypt and Phut, all being the sons of the Negro Ham. How ironic that the present day bureaucracy argue Israel’s ownership, whereon all account, knowing that the land was first owned by the African Negroes!
Pastor Edwards: And that’s all the proof you have?
Dr. Johnson: What other proof would we need? Ethiopia, the mother of civilization, extended her empire throughout Asia, and the Bible substantiates an Ethiopian presence in those regions. Also, the land of Canaan, which was first dominated by the Negro children of Ham, existed in Asia. The whole continent of
Asia was named and inhabited by the Negro children of Cush and Canaan. 2
Pastor Edwards: Is there any contemporary proof to your description?
Dr. Johnson: Oh my God, mountains of geographical proof. But permit me to only expound upon one. There is a chain of mountains, stretching from Afghanistan to Pakistan, called Hindu-
Cush, named after the early inhabitants of the region, the Negro children of Cush! 3
Mr. Coolidge: Dr. Johnson, let’s go back to the Garden of Eden. What are the translations of the Pishon, Gihon, and Hiddekel
Rivers?
Dr. Johnson: The Pishon, which flows from the highlands of Ethiopia, is presently called the Blue Nile. The Gihon, which travels throughout Egypt, is a Greek word for Nile, and is modernly called Nile and White Nile. The Hiddekel in Asia is a Persian term meaning Tigris. All four Rivers in ancient times
were called Yam,
a term that meant Ham in
