Reviews for A Faerie's Revenge

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This arc we find out quite a bit more about the Guardians.
Zed is against the guardians, because he was abandoned by them instead of being rescued as Calla was by Ryn, when kidnapped by Zell.
Olive Calla's mentor, actively looks for ways to hurt her.
They maintain a blacklist of people with Griffin abilities, even though people with griffin abilities helped overthrow Draven.
They are racist even though other races helped overthrow Draven.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This isn’t exactly a NEW story. But then, there aren’t really any “new” stories, are there?
Accused of a crime she didn’t commit by the institution she belongs to, a woman goes on the run. Eventually, she joins up with a group of outlaws and ends up committing crimes with them. In doing so, she eventually uncovers.... OK, that’s enough; I don’t want to spoil it for you.
The thing is, the story is told so WELL in this case that I can’t really fault it. It’s easily the best instalment in the Creepy Hollow series so far. There’s action, there’s adventure, there’s intrigue, and there’s betrayal.
There’s even a bit of romance!
Many of the characters experience a lot of growth, and the world evolves too. Which is great, but it also means I wouldn’t recommend reading this book if you’ve not read any previous books in the series — including Books One to Three, which are the previous arc, because even those old characters grow.
I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
