Introduction & About Me
My name is Claude Acero and I would like to extend a warm greeting to you all. I have been an expat for so long that sometimes I actually wonder where I am originally from. My hometown - if I still have one - is probably Stockton, but I have moved around quite a bit since the mid 90’s.
After spending over two years in Panama City and one the David area, I am now more sort of a modern drifter peddling between Panama, Nicaragua and sometimes Miami. I have been involved in all sorts of businesses, mainly importing, but frankly I consider myself more an artist than a traditional entrepreneur; I’m passionate about foreign cultures, entrepreneurship and healthy living, these are topics which I know well and write about them on http//:www.expatstarter.com
This book is not written as a competition to all the travel and retirement books about Panama that are currently on the market; rather, the content of this book is focused on relocation and key aspects of international living in Panama. The idea of this information is to make a new untraditional
lifestyle in one of the most diverse countries in Central America more self-supporting. I also would like help those who are considering doing business in a new homeland in their decision about their future center of life. I also hope that this guide will motivate readers to pursue their dreams and happiness abroad. I’d like to thank the readers for their time and interests, and
