    Real Reviews, Recommendations and Testimonials

    from Immigrant Business Directory

Fred: I do recommend it. It is an eye opener because all information you need to know you'll have it. No questions left unattended to as much as we are many and I call this a big sacrifice since information is power and you hardly find someone sacrificing his or her time to offer all this. Besides that, I am inspired from the videos I've seen hope restored for those ones who lost it. Keep up the good work. God bless you Janet.

Ella: Free knowledgeable, inspiring information from one bighearted beautiful lady who sacrifices a lot for others. God bless you Janet.

Aisha: I think is the best. It changes people’s life. I wish I would be lucky to be one of the chosen one in the DV Lottery. God be there for me and my two kids. Amen

Rispa: I can imagine how hard she must work to give us all this information while still trying to balance her life. I just met her today, but I can say this is so impressive. She is very selfless really willing to share with everyone about green cards, scholarships, students visa and all that ...keep up Janet. I just love to keep up the good work. You are a true Leader.

Peris: Great information from a very selfless lady.

Edna: We got the visitor’s visa in December 2017. Everyone said it was a miracle to have myself, my husband and three children get the 5 year Visa. What I can say is you have to be confident, show them every reason that will bring you back home and give them a smile! Don't be desperate!

Nyagwaya: The information is truthful and reliable. Thanks Janet for taking your time to do this, I always wondered where to start from but now I know better.

Bernard: If you need the best information for US visas, this is the place to be.

    Introduction

America has long been viewed as the land where dreams can come true. This is according to a survey on immigration conducted by Public Agenda in 2009. America is made up of immigrants and remains the land of opportunity for many around the world. In fact, many people from all over the world dream and desire to move to the United States. Fueled by many desires like adventure, economic, political and religious reasons, this hope has not diminished over the years. This is proved by the fact that immigrants of the past are not different from the immigrants of today. However, studies have shown that recent immigrants also known to some as New Americans are entering the United States with higher education levels compared to previous immigrants. They are all bound by one goal of getting the opportunity to see their dreams fulfilled. America is a representation of every religion and race, and yet, the country is not defined by these things. Rather, the United States is viewed as a beacon of hope and freedom to people all over the world.

My name is Janet Rangi and I was raised in Kenya. I came to the United States in 2003 as a student with 200 dollars in my pocket. I chose to be a VICTOR and not a VICTIM of my circumstances. I am an American citizen by naturalization. I have a Masters’ Degree from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). I am a Post graduate Student at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). I have found a passion in sharing my experiences as a foreign trained immigrant. I blog and vlog with thousands following my content on social media. I have made a life and a career in the United States and I am part of what some would arguably call the American dream. The desire for economic emancipation and career progression was fulfilled and even perhaps exceeded in this journey.

What started as a desire and a dream has become a reality and in the following few chapters I will try and share snippets based on personal experience as a new American. Hopefully you will learn a thing or two on how to make decisions before and after coming to America. Through the course of the book you will read through the lessons I have learnt, mistakes I have made and wisdom that I have gathered over the years. I do this in the hope that perhaps through my journey you will draw your inspiration to dream and fulfil your inspirations and desires. This book will not only serve as an inspiration for one who wants to come to the United States in pursuit of a better life but for anyone who desires to see their dream
