Is This How All Adventures Start?

A mysterious figure is running through a crowded street in the marketplace.

"Stop right there!" shouted one of three guards chasing them.

The person grinned, they picked up the pace.

    "Hey!" shouted another guard.

The young man jumped onto the roof of a building, his long blue scarf blew about in the wind.

The three guards came to a sudden halt.

Aim your bows men! ordered the Captain, he gave the word.

    The man grinned again.

This is where your chase comes to an end they said.

They disappeared into a puff of smoke.

Who was that criminal? asked one of the guards.

The Captain was not pleased at all.

The so called criminal was actually hiding behind the other side of the building.

Phew, that was a close said the young man, he wiped the sweat away from his forehead.

    He continued on.

His name is Sinna, a shady character by nature but I’ve only been acquainted with him for a short time now and what he does for a living, still gives me the creeps!

I’m Haelo, a wizard by trade and Sinna’s unwilling accomplice in this uncertain world.

A man with long read hair, looks upward as the sun slowly retreats behind some clouds in the sky.

"Hey Haelo, let’s go steal some more, Hahaha" announced Sinna as he laughed.

    But then again, thought Haelo.

I want to go too! said someone, appears to be a mini goddess.

She was hanging onto Sinna’s leg.

"What do you think you’re doing?!" demanded Sinna as he tried to shake her off.

But I want to come too! begged the Mini Goddess.

There’s always that observed Haelo, a funny expression on his face.

And you call yourself the Mini Goddess of Over Grown Sweet Potatoes! said Sinna in the background.

I can still remember when it used to be just the two us, thought Haelo.

He stared up at the sky.

Get off my leg! demanded Sinna.

Those times were great, Haelo thought.

Then the Mini Goddess went flying past him.

    But then again, he thought.

    The clouds passed above them.

I’ve finally gotten use to how things are now, thought Haelo.

Sinna was trying to clean his pants.

Have you seen Poleesh recently? Haelo asked him.

Does it look like I know?! demanded Sinna with his finger in one ear.

    Sorry I asked observed Haelo.

Do you want to go and find some treasure? he asked Sinna.

    Not without Poleesh he said.

    Haelo looked over at him.

We need our somewhat loyal thief to steal a map for us said Sinna.

What do you mean by somewhat,?! thought Haelo.

The mini goddess had recovered from the tackle with her master.

How dare you do that! she protested.

A bit slow with the tension span today! commented Sinna with a grin.

"I’ll put a sweet potato curse on you!" announced the Mini Goddess at the top of her voice.

Hmph, I’d like to see you try! said Sinna as he shrugged.

I seriously will! said the mini goddess in the background.

    .funny theme music.

Hey guys, I’m back said Poleesh, he made his way towards them.

And where have you been?! demanded Sinna.

Great news, I stole us a horse and cart said Poleesh with a smile.

Just shut up and take the reigns! ordered Sinna.

Yes Sir said Poleesh as he jumped onto it.

Where are we going? asked Haelo.

Don’t ask questions and move it! Sinna ordered him.

If you say so admitted Haelo, he made his way over.

Sinna picked up the mini goddess; throw her into the cart and they were finally on their way.

    What could be happening elsewhere?

At the dark fortress of the evil overlord who was busy trying to plot his domination over the land but no one was listening to his constant ranting.

    "Argh!" he yelled suddenly.

    Everyone looked over at him.

    Exclamation marks all around.

That’s much better observed the Evil Overlord.

I don’t like it when things are this quiet,! he thought.

The tapping of his foot could be heard throughout the grand hall.

If l could please suggested something? asked the purple haired advisor.

What is it? the Evil Overlord asked.

Why are we all pixel sprites? they wondered.

And why are we all moving about to the sound evil sounding music? asked the blue haired advisor.

You both a have good point there, let’s change back to normal! ordered the Evil Overlord.

    .scene transition.

Ah! Now that’s a lot better! observed the Evil Overlord as he stood up.

If you ask me, I find the whole idea of being that way somewhat nauseating commented the purple haired advisor.

I agree said the blue haired advisor.

"Now that’s enough!" shouted the Evil Overlord as he threw an apple at the purple haired advisor.

    .whack.

    They quickly jumped back.

I apologise, My Overlord said the purple haired advisor, a bump quickly appeared.

"The tine has now come!" announced the Evil Overlord.

    What time is it? asked
