FOREWORD
Gifts bring us a feeling of pleasure, except the fifteenth pair of socks you’ve received from Aunt Bramilda or the soap on a rope that Grandma feels obligated to give you every year. I wonder if they secretly act as a team to send me a message. Feet and smell do not paint a good picture!
The Gift of Success is a gift that will last a lifetime and will assist you to achieve everything that your heart desires. Its value can only be determined by the visions and aspirations you have in life. Although most of the information is based on facts, I have written this book in a way that, I believe, will give you a new way of visualizing what you need to understand in order to ultimately achieve what you want to achieve. The explanation of the system you need to implement in order to obtain the end product is different. This is an exercise that you can participate in and practice daily to become a great success. The book has all the information you need to be successful in life; it only needs your participation to truly be worth more than its purchase value. Gold is worth a lot of money for the man that mines it and processes it into gold bars. In its original form, it is worth nothing. This book is the same; in essence it is just a book, but to the man that processes the information and acts upon it, to him it will be more valuable than gold.
I have come to understand that there are facts like 11 × 22 = 242. This is easy as I could have used a calculator to do this.
What if I told you that I didn’t and explained to you that 11 multiplied to any 2 numbers is easily calculated in your head with basic math knowledge? You simply take the two numbers and split them. Then add the two up and write the answer in the middle. 11 × 22 = 2 (2 + 2) 2, therefore 242.
When the sum in the middle adds up to a value of more than 10, you simply carry the value over, e.g., 11 × 98 = 9 (9 + 8) 8, which is 9 (17) 8, carry the 1 over to the first digit, and your answer is 10 (7) 8 or 1, 078, which is correct. Isn’t it great!
Now that your mind has been shown an easy way of solving this calculation, it sees this as easy. If you thought you were bad at mathematics, think again. This book is intended to show you how easy it is to obtain success in life.
I asked myself if it was possible for a simple man like me to change the world, and my answer was yes, one book at a time. What do you want to do?
If I accept you as you are, I will make you worse; however, if I treat you as though you are what you are capable of becoming, I help you become that.
—Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
This gift lies not in the pages and dark letters, but rather in the use of it. I hope this becomes your most valuable gift ever.
CHAPTER 1
The Gift of Imagination
What this power is I cannot say; all I know is that it exists and it becomes available only when a man is in that state of mind in which he knows exactly what he wants and is fully determined not to quit until he finds it.
—Alexander Graham Bell
As children, we explored everything, and we filled our minds with the most fascinating ideas of what certain objects are or can be. Remember how a stick became a weapon and a war would start? Little Jimmy believed in the power of that stick so much that when I pointed it at him and threw in a gun sound, Jimmy would fall down. There is just no arguing that I shot him with the stick. Obviously, death was a very short ordeal as Jimmy did not stay down the rest of the day but rather got up within a few seconds and as another character. This time Jimmy had a stick with a leaf still desperately clinging to it. Jimmy looked at it and immediately realized that his gun had a magazine.
I remember the
