Wreath for the Earth?
()
About this ebook
Number of technical books have been written on this topic, (and the present author too could have written one, he being an engineer). But, if this topic is covered in a creative way, it could appeal more to the people, and consequently they would pay more attention to solving this problem.
For friends young & old, this is a wake-up call. Please do not disregard it. It would be no use crying over spilt milk, once irrevocable damage is done.
Subhash S. Naik

He has written in various publications and websites. Several anthologies contain his verses. He has written verses for a TV program on environment and a story for a TV sitcom. Introduction
Nearly 6 years ago, my first book of English poems on Environment & Pollution, titled ‘The Earth In Custody’ was published. It was sponsored by D.L. Shah Trust, Mumbai.
I have been a member of the Solar Energy Society of India, and have been interested in Alternate Energy. Also, a number of years ago, I had read the book ‘Limits to Growth’, which is a Report prepared by a multidisciplinary group of scientists called ‘Club of Rome’. It highlighted that the natural resources in the world will run out in a few years’ time, if the human race does not do anything about it. In spite all this, I wonder whether I would have written any poems on Pollution & Environment, had the D.L. Shah Trust not decided to produce
